I LOVE THIS. Thanks so much to whomever posted the rave “couldn’t live without it” review. As a product junkie, I had to hunt it down–discontinued OF COURSE–but found it on Ebay. Had looked at a bunch of color-sample images online (don’t you love the internet??) & chose Fleur something. Gorgeous mid-pink, shimmery.
The only two things that keep it from being 5 stars: the brush pulls out way too much product so you have the wipe the edge back into the tube (like nail polish), and it’s not really moisturizing. But it’s not too slippery/slick, doesn’t bleed into my crepey lip edges (and that’s without a liner or clear wax lip barrier).
I actually apply inside the vermilion line (color edge) then rub my lips together to move it out for a subtle shimmery lip border a la JLo. Yet it’s not sticky either. (Tho frankly I sorta LIKE sticky, b/c it stays firmly in place.) So YAAYYY.

Amazing gloss. I will never go to another brand if I can help it. I have tried Dior, Marc Jacobs, Too Faced, Shiseido, Clinique, Clarins, blah blah blah, from the high end ones–nothing that made me think, “Hm, this is significantly superior to drugstore glosses!” Nor even, “Hm, this might actually change me into a gloss person!”
I mean, sure they were all okay, but gloss remained an afterthought regardless. If I really want to define my lips, I go for lipstick or lipliner + lip balm. Usually, just balm on the lips is enough for me to feel ‘polished.’ And then, if the whim takes me or the weather is particularly cold, a drugstore gloss, high end, doesn’t make a difference to me. I tend to think of them more as a ‘barrier’ than an actual cosmetic.
Apart from Guerlain. I think this is one that will make non-glossers perk up, too. The texture/formula is comfortable, but it doesn’t slip/slide, nor does it dry out the lips over time, and it is DEFINITELY not disgustingly sticky. They just hit the perfect blend. It makes your lips look BIG! Defined! Just by the texture of it. It still manages not to look overly vinyl/fake/grotesquely glossy. Relatively natural.
I have even had other people comment on how perfect these look.
I find it nicely pigmented (not in an OCC lip tar way, which isn’t to my taste anyway). Covers evenly (huge pet peeve is gloss that you have to keep building and it keeps shifting around).
The other plus, is the colour selection.
The colour selection is beautiful, and you can see THOUGHT has been put into creating a range that will suit many skintones. (There is definitely an artistic sensibility and good taste behind Guerlain colours in general.)
It is not revoltingly trendy (by which I mean the colour will go out of style and then just look hideous instead of ‘on point’) nor dull and bland, as in “might as well have put nothing on” ( Bobbi Brown colours are like that for me). If shimmer is in a colour, it is so extremely fine, it doesn’t register as such.
I don’t think Guerlain offer anything extraordinary when it comes to eye makeup (their liquid liner is my favourite, but i guess that most people wouldn’t like it). However, their lipsticks and glosses are phenomenal.

Amazing gloss, amazing applicator, amazing smell, amazing shine. That’s pretty much it really. Love at first swipe!

Most amazing lip gloss. I truly love this stuff. I have a particular fondness for 867 Pink Pearl. I’ve received so many compliments on this. It has the perfect glistening shimmer that I’ve never found in another gloss. The formulation is the best. I really wish the tube lasted longer. I do repurchase it because it is so divine but I wish the amount of product per dollar was better.

I have this in 462, a non shimmery deep plum red. This glides on smoothly & effortless & not sticky at all. Overall, I love it but a little pricey but I would repurchase for sure.

This review is for Kiss Kiss #866, which is a shimmering mauvey-plum that I find absolutely beautiful with Mac’s lipliner in “Currant”. The gloss is gorgeous-sheer but very buildable color, irridescent, and has great staying power. The color is fabulous. That said, I agree with the poster(s) who said that the container holds very little product and runs out quickly if you are using this as your everyday lip gloss. I used it day and night for three weeks and ran out, much to my horror, because it is difficult to see from the packaging how much product is left. When one pays over $30 for a lipgloss, this is disappointing. Still, I find the formula VERY unique, the colors fantastic, and couldn’t resist splurging on it again. There are some beauty products worth the splurge; this is one of them, in my opinion.

One of the best lipglosses I own. Feels amazing on the lips and lasts for quite a while. I will definitely purchase more.

i want to mention Guerlain Kiss Kiss Essence de Gloss, couldnt find review on this but this product definitely worth mentioning, its nice, non sticky gloss with beautiful luxe packaging, definitely worth the splurge, i got Kiss Kiss Essence de Gloss in Violine, which was most pigmented when i swatched on guerlian counter but on lips comes as a subtle voilet pink, which can go well wid smokey eyes as well

I have this in 841, Beige Secret, which is a beige-nude shade with a hint of peach and pearlized shimmer. The color is perfect for glossy nude lip looks where you don’t want your lips competing with your eyes but still want them to be there, if that makes sense. The staying power is good compared to a lot of others I’ve tried and it has a thicker slightly sticky texture. It’s moisturizing and feels soft and smooth when on. The packaging is cute if slightly outdated looking and the brush is a perfect size and gets just enough product on it. I love how this makes my lips look fuller and can be layered over lipstick to deepen the color. If you’re looking for a perfect nude gloss, I’d highly suggest this one. My one turnoff is the scent – it’s just a little too sickly-sweet.
