I hate glosses but I actually like this one. It’s not sticky to me aside from the fact that it’s gloss so it’s going to be more tacky. I haven’t noticed any streaking with mine (I have Soft Rose) but I usually wear mine alone instead of over lipstick. I like the color and the scent reminds me of mint ice cream. I can’t say it plumps a lot but I also don’t think it does nothing. I feel the tingle. Most of these types of glosses are a bit gimmicky so I don’t buy them for that purpose. But I like this gloss enough which is saying something from me.

I have started this review several times over the last several months and have not had the heart to submit. I really, really want to like this lip gloss, but I cannot rate it well. I own the shades Champagne (shimmering warm nude), Almost Natural (light nude pink), Soft Rose (nude mauve cream), and Moonlight (white holographic with iridescent pink reflect).
Pros: Muted nude tones, shimmer options, cream options. Slight tingle. Kind of a menthol smell that’s inoffensive and short-lasting.
Cons: The streaky formula makes this lip gloss high maintenance and impractical for everyday wear, especially in the shades Almost Natural & Champagne. Streaks were present on my top and bottom lips immediately with application. They were somewhat able to be smoothed down with the applicator wand, but then came back even worse after my lips moved naturally with speech and made my lips look splotchy. It looked like I had milk or some other liquid smeared unevenly on my lips – unfortunately, very unattractive.
I. want. this. to. work. The colors are BEAUTIFUL, but this formula is a bust. Soft Rose wears a tiny bit better but suffers from the same streaking fate, just less so. Moonlight wears the best because of the iridescence, but still looks “milky” after the product bunches in one spot on my lips. If Milani can perfect this formula, I will 100% try again. As it is right now, I just look silly when I wear this.

I got this in the shade Luminoso because the Milani blush in that shade is often touted as a dupe for NARS Orgasm, and I wanted a consolation prize for not purchasing the Orgasm Lip Oil. I’m quite pleased with this purchase that saved me $20. Thick, well pigmented gloss with a slight tingle. Finish is glowy, rather than glittery or overly shiny. Wear time is average as compared to a sticky gloss, which this is not. Beautiful color, peachy pink with a gold sheen. It does smell like sweet vanilla, but the scent doesn’t linger. I don’t know if I would describe it as nourishing or hydrating, but this isn’t drying. I would repurchase and look forward to trying the Rose Bronze shade.

I have a love hate relationship with lipgloss. And highlighters, but that’s an entirely different subject.
I became fascinated with this product because of the rather minimalist packaging. I rarely purchase DS lipgloss because the product is covered with so much ”grafitti” text it’s embarrassing. Not with this.
I purchased Soft Rose 08 as it was devoid of shimmer and was the least peach/warm tone available without looking too cool mauve and turning purple-ish on me. I despise that.
Soft Rose 08 is a dusty milky pink mauve/nude tone and quite complex for a DS pigment. This color looks far more expensive and is reminiscent of something from Edward Bess.
I find DS lip glosses to be either too shimmery or the color range is too warm or too cool. Milani has midpoint pigments here which is quite commendable.
Needless to say on me it is the ideal nude pink, dare I say “nipple” pink!
I also like the mint scent and cooling effect which tricks the mind into believing it is plumping. I am doubtful that happens.
This gloss is very thick and applies opaque which really impressed me. The large doe foot applicator makes applying easy, but you may apply too much gloss than necessary.
I have no clue what the duration of wear time is as I never pay attention to that concerning lipglosses.
I may venture into other colors as long as the aren’t shimmery or weirdly warm.
I recommend this product and color and more so if like me you have a 30% coupon which brought my price down to $6.43.

The shades and packaging of this product appealed to me. Everything about it seemed so pretty! I picked up luminoso since I am such a big fan of the blush, I thought it’d be cute to match!
Its…a very average lip gloss. Slightly tingly mint feeling, not enough to do anything to the lips. I could feel the small shimmers in the lip gloss, and it caught on any dry patches of my lips.
It does look nice on, but it wasn’t the most comfortable to wear.

I have this in Luminoso, which is a really sheer shimmery peachy pink. The shimmer isn’t chunky/glittery, but it is definitely very shimmery. The formula is super nice. It’s thick, not sticky, easy to apply (a lot of times I have to use a lip balm underneath gloss, not so with this), sticks around for a bit, and doesn’t shellac your lips/face with glitter as it fades.
It has a slight tingle, but it doesn’t affect my lips really. As in, it doesn’t seem to plump or, conversely, dry out my lips to shriveled prune status. I’m not sure it’s actually hydrating, but it isn’t drying. The applicator (taking its cue from the Fenty gloss I assume…) is awesome, a chunky doe-foot that makes application a breeze.
This gloss in this shade kind of gives a halo effect to lips that is super super pretty. It essentially gives the same look as the Fenty Universal Gloss Bomb tbh but without the warm tones that one has, making Luminoso more flattering on my skin tone. Kinda warmly silvery.
I really wish these came in sheer cream finishes—if they did, I’d buy a bunch more, but eventually all sheer shimmer glosses can look the same on lips.

I’ve had this now in two shades: Prismatic Peach and Luminoso. I like Luminoso better because it gives a wash of glow, whereas Prismatic Peach is more of a glimmering finish. Both are pretty though, albeit quite sheer.
I enjoy this gloss very much. I find it to be incredibly hydrating, and the boost of hydration really does help the lips to appear fuller, rather than parched and thin. It’s a thick kind of formula, but it’s not sticky. I typically prefer a stickier gloss for the purpose of longevity, but this is so sheer that it isn’t super noticeable when it wears, so I’m not bothered by the slight slickness. That being said, it does hang around longer than other non-sticky glosses I’ve tried.
There’s a slight cooling tingle, but it’s nowhere close to, say, the Buxom glosses. I don’t believe that tingle is what is causing the plumping though.
The scent is sweet and candy-like. I enjoy it a lot.
The packaging is a dream. The giant doe-foot applicator is soooo plush and soft, and it makes applying the gloss a dream. It’s almost calming, haha!
I paid $8 at Target for this, and you get 0.13 ounces, which is about standard for glosses in all price ranges. So I’d say it’s quite the bargain.
I’ll definitely be repurchasing this!
Edit to add: I purchased this in Rosy Bronze at Ulta. It was $9 there as opposed to $8 at Target, but I really wanted to try this shade and it is STUNNING! The prettiest shade in the collection so far, if you ask me! It’s a tad bit more pigmented and packed with pretty shimmer that doesn’t pull too sparkly. It’s a pink-hued bronze that will work beautifully with any complexion!
