I was really disappointed with this lipgloss, I normally opt for balms and lipsticks but thought I’d give this a go seeing as I love a lot of other Stila products. First of all it’s quite sticky and heavy to wear which I didn’t really like but what made it worse was the packaging – it’s absolutely impossible to apply this quickly; you have to wind the bottom to push more product out at least 5 minutes before you want to apply, so you can’t do it after dinner for example or anything like that when you want to be somewhat inconspicuous about it. I would not recommend for the time poor or people who don’t like goopy mess everywhere because it always messes out into the lid and spreads around. I hope Stila improve this!

If you are looking for a sparkly gloss, this is the product for you! I personally I have to tone down the sparkle by only using a small amount of the gloss (but hey, this way it lasts longer). The colors layer great on lipstick, and each other (purple over purple tones and reds, orange over nudes and pinks, pink over everything!). You twist the bottom of the stick to get the gloss to come out the top, and this can be tricky – you just need patience, otherwise you will end up with WAY too much gloss. Love the product, but prefer another style of packaging.
Rated 5 out of 5 by milrianth from Perfect green that stays true to your taste! My basic black is green because it’s more feminine so I thought of coming up with the most of this amazing super violet! It has the same outstanding taste and texture of lilac, so I used an eye primer instead of an all the colors stuff. This creates a bold and beautiful shimmer and I love it so much that I ordered a other color for it too, and a swirl spray shade too. It makes me look like a flying dragon and gives me that exuberant hues.
Rated 5 out of 5 by LadyJane from Pure blue I love this product and not only that because I’m a great makeup artist but also because I like all over the world. I feel like I always have a purple sky blouse (my idea of dark or dark blue was pencily or emerald like you call it in the book), so I choose one that’s “aqua,” when in fact it’s aqua blue. This product is great for long-haired moms, ladies and guys, it also gives me a perfect base color for toning off excess powders. It isn’t on the tube so doesn’t mess up my looking but that’s just fine to do.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Rollarella from Do the math what you’re doing Simple clear, rich, sophisticated makeup you don’t even need to post pics for. Always keep in mind that this is not straight up Vip ward powder. There’s this one in my husband’s lip color, Patagonia Cosmetics, you can find it online only. Oh yeah, if you don’t know what it’s called, you can buy my tapered 1:5 mirror here. One of the best things about this product is the weightlessness, and, unless you use lipstick or other pencily ingredients you don’t really need the results to surprise me. But I think what you’ll find is much greater than any of this. I used enough product over the weekend to avoid any smoky streaks but found this product to be a tad on the sharp side and so worked rather well on non-slush pigments. I’ve no issues with veins or eyelashes, simply as each of these color lids is applied at the same time.

I’m really on the fence about these Stila Lip Glazes… My mother-in-law gifted me three of these. I have Amethyst, Pink Diamond, and Golden Topaz. They all have a high level of sparkle and under the light it appears to be a pink sparkle. I think these are super fun because they are not your average lip gloss! They are SPARKLY, and I’m talking intensely, wickedly sparkly. These lip glazes are perfect for clubbing, parties, or when you solely want the main focus to be on your lips. I personally really adore the packaging. The applicator shows the color of the gloss exactly, and you get a decent amount in each tube (.08 fl. oz.) I love the click applicator at the bottom, it is strangely satisfying hearing it click. You really only need a click or two to fully saturate your lips. I don’t enjoy how sticky they are though; I constantly find my hair getting stuck to my lips when I wear these. But that’s all lip glosses in general, so what’s a gal to do. The price is over the top but since these lip glazes aren’t an every day lip and more of a special occasion I do think they’re a great, unique investment for anyone who adores sparkles. 💖

I really like all three of these glosses, but Pink Diamond is my favorite. They’re all extremely sparkly, but not gritty. Pink Diamond is very bright; I love it, but it’s not for everybody. However, you can adjust how much you put on so it’s not as vibrant.
These are expensive, but if I ran out I would probably splurge on them again. If not all three than at least Pink Diamond.

I like this gloss, out of a possible 5 I’d give this a good 4 stars. Yes this definitely has pigment, I was a bit alarmed at first at the bright, almost neon pink gloss (this is one of those glosses that you must have a mirror, or you could end up looking clownish). It makes my teeth look whiter (big plus), it shows up on my highly pigmented lips without having to use a ton of product (most Stila lip glazes don’t or just barely show), and it’s quite flattering to my yellow-undertone complexion. It’s a nice medium pink shade, if you enjoy using Stila Convertible Color Fuchsia as a lip product (this CC was a bit too bright for my liking) then you’ll probably enjoy this.
I was fortunate enough to buy this for a decent price on Ebay (keep your eyes peeled for “Stila Jewel”), but http://www.stilacosmetics.com has this lip glaze w/a 3 pan eye shadow palette for only $28, as opposed to paying $40 from Sephora.com (but I’m sure you don’t get the pretty can w/the cheaper price, and it’s without the mascara & original eye shadows I believe).

This lip glaze came in the 2000 Jewel Doll Barbie Loves Stila Paint Can. It’s a very pretty cool-toned Barbie pink, with shimmering silver undertones. It goes on fairly opaque – this is a pigmented gloss. What sets this apart from other lip glazes is the consistency – it’s not sticky like other Stila lip glazes. Personally, I like the stickiness of Stila lip glazes and was a little disappointed. This Jewel lip glaze is definitely more like a liquid lipstick. Having said that, I feel like it lasts about as long as other lip glazes, so for me, I can go about three hours without reapplying, even if I have a beverage. Like other Stila lip glazes, this is flavored, but the flavor fades after application.
