I’ve had this in my online cart forever, and finally purchased this. A lovely, long-lasting sheer raspberry gloss with a slight shimmer. Very flattering on my fair skin. The packaging is classy with a sturdy gold cap and large flat doe-foot applicator; this gloss also has a raspberry scent. Will definitely look for other Prodige shades!

Long lasting lip gloss with beautiful colour and shine! Great applicator too! I’m in love! I smells like raspberry.

The perfect MLBB lip gloss! On lips, the shade is very true to the color in the tube. The Gloss Prodiges are well pigmented in general. It has golden shimmer, but it’s very subtle.
I’m usually more of a lipstick-girl, but this lip gloss is different. The texture is gel-like, but it isn’t sticky at all. The gloss applies evenly, which is typically an issue with lip glosses. I love the mirror-like glossy finish, which makes lips look fuller. The gloss lasts pretty well, but doesn’t survive a meal. After the glossy finish wears off, my lips feel moisturized.
The scent is like candy and it’s pretty strong, a little too much for my taste. If you don’t like scents in lip products, you may want to reconsider. However, the scent doesn’t irritate my lips in any way, so I can deal with it. When I ran out, I’ll definitely repurchase!

I’ve never tried a lip gloss as highly pigmented as this one, excellent quality, lasts all night, tastes incredible, and the color is to die for !!

I have never worn a lip gloss like this before. It stays glossy for about an hour or so after applying, but then it wears off and stays on as a creamy moisturizing lipstick. No gunkiness around the inner lips, no drying. I have worn this and it lasted through the evening, after a workout and shower! Of course there wasn’t much left, but still, it left almost a tint on my lips until I rubbed it off with a tissue. My lips feel so comfortable wearing this, unlike any other lip gloss I’ve worn. The gloss is not very sticky, and it does have a fruity scent/flavour which I actually like. I do (like the previous reviewer) prefer the colour of Chanel’s Wild Rose to this shade (the Chanel Wild Rose is more mauve-y than Candy), and I do wish that Clarins had more shades of this lipgloss, but I have already purchased this lipgloss in another shade (Papaya), that’s how impressed I am by this line of lip glosses. I don’t think I would buy a lip gloss from any other brand/line…

I have this in blackberry, raspberry, grenadine and candy. Love them all and the packaging is gorgeous. Candy is a beautiful berry pink with gold shimmer. It smells like a watermelon jolly rancher and goes on really smooth and glossy. It’s not sticky, yet it feels very moisturizing on and lasts a good 2 hours. I wear it over Two Faced perfect nude lip liner and I’m good for the day.

Gloss Prodige in 04 Candy is a berry pink with golden shimmer in their new gloss formula (which replaced the old Gloss Appeal formula). My mom picked it out for me and the color and formula is certainly beautiful – going on with enough punch to add color and lift to my NW/C20ish Asian complexion. It’s not as crazy glittery as Chanel’s Glossimer range (my favorite gloss formula) but the golden sparkle adds dimension and volume to the look. The applicator is like a long paddle shaped version of a doefoot applicator, making application surprisingly easy and kind of unusual feeling (kind of like the new Revlon Glosses).
However, I just couldn’t get over the nauseating candy scent of the gloss – I like my lip product to be unscented or subtly scented (the most scented gloss I own is Buxom Lip Polish, which has a vanilla/creme brulee scent, but fades quickly) – it was just so strong and I could smell it under my nose the whole time I was wearing it.
The packaging is beautiful too – a tube reminiscent of YSL’s Golden Glosses – a clear square tube with a gold cap, with a little notch on the side with the Clarins “C” engraved on it (the little notch is actually very helpful in opening the container comfortably) – and while I love the color and the formula, I probably won’t buy this again because of the scent which is too strong for me.
If you don’t mind scented glosses, you should try them out – they’re a nice, nonsticky formula that wears decently and leaves your lips feeling soft. I’ll be sticking with my Chanel Glossimer in Wild Rose (more brown/mauve) or Clinique Buttershine Lipstick in Berry Blush (more berry/purple, silver shimmer not gold) for a similar effect, because I can’t get over the strong fruity/candy scent.
