I never thought that i will buy kylie cosmetics product until this gloss version coming out because the matte liquid lipstick is my sworn enemy. Not Kylie’s, but any brand. I have a really dry and chapped lips. Wearing normal lipstick already makes me scared. When first applied, it may look okay, but not too long after that, the problem is arise. And the climax is when i eat or drink. Suddenly my lips will feel weird, the lipstick is moving everywhere and it seeps into the dry skin and accentuates it. So i never really invest in lip product/lipstick. When i knew that she’s launching the gloss, i’m so excited and decided to bought the shade like. For now i only have 1 shade because i don’t want to be impulsive and regret it later. But after i owned this, i think i need more of this (currently ordering 😀 )
First, the pakcaging is average. Just about the same with any other lip gloss out there. Smells amazing! Sweet vanilla smell, which is addicting to me. I never thought that i will be addicted to this kind of smell. On top of that, i don’t really like my makeup product to be heavily scented. But this gloss smells just right. Not too strong but definitely noticable. There’s no taste to it.
It has decent opaque colour and for me, i’m happy with just one coat of it. If you layered it too much, it will feel funny and too sticky, but if you only put 1 or 2 coats, it’ll feel okay.
I also feel that it’s moisturise my lips and didn’t accentuate my dry and chapped lips. It’s not long wearing and it’s not transferproof, you need to reapply after meals and drinks or after your lips touching something.
