Milky sheer mauve pink, with a “clean” look, no hint of brown. Great for fair skin/blue or green eyes. Its from the “cream” range, so there is no shimmer. Long lasting, very moisturising, slick feeling gloss coats and protects lips more than a regular gloss. Vanilla mint flavor that gives lips a fresh cool tingly feeling for the first 20 minutes, I usually hate mint but I love these. I haven’t noticed any huge plumping effect but with hyaluronic acid, they smooth and soften lines and dryness like no other gloss. Luxe modern packaging. Maybe a little high end but great value to me as I always use these to the last drop (pull out the stopper with craft pliers for a weeks extra use).

A little tingly on the lips which might give the illusion of plumping but I don’t know if it really does. Despite that, the shade Dolly is a very pretty gloss with a “barely there” rosy mauve tone that looks nice on my lips. It has decent staying power which I appreciate since my lips are always feeling dry and this helps keep them feeling comfortable. After the first few uses I didn’t notice the tingling sensation at all. It has a definite minty scent/taste to it, but I like that so it doesn’t bother me. Definitely pricey for a gloss but I will probably repurchase, if not in this shade I will check out some of the others.

One of my favorite glosses and I’m picky with gloss. My biggest turnoffs are when theyr’e overly gloppy, settle into fine lines, dry my lips out, and fade too quickly and evenly. This gloss does none of these things! Dolly is a great MLBB color, that adds a little pop and shimmer. I wouldn’t exactly call it moisturizing, but it definitely doesn’t dry my lips out like a lot of other glosses. As for the plumping effect, I don’t see it, but I don’t look for that in a gloss so I don’t mind. If you happen to be looking for a plumping gloss look elsewhere (though I’ve never found one that actually delivers on that promise). If Dolly doesn’t work for you there are a lot of other colors (A LOT) in this line that will probably suit almost everyone.

I am in love with this gloss! I got a deluxe sized sample from Ulta and upon first use, I was hooked. It definitely plumps the lips a bit and in my case, I felt the tingling sensation that usually accompanies a product that plumps. The shade itself is a mauve-y nude shade that I think would work on all skin tones. I tend to pair it with a liner to deepen the color but it’s gorgeous by itself. I like the consistency of the gloss – it’s thick but not goopy and it doesn’t feel heavy on the lips. I particularly like the scent of the product. I like this stuff so much that I bought the full size even though I haven’t run out of the sample 😉 I plan to keep this in my stash.

But the product is sooo gorgeous. Looks so beautiful on my lips so shiny and full. The light mauve colour looks grewt with most looks & the slight plumping affect is fun
I wish I could find a good dupe but I have yet to find anything like it

It contains menthoI which I aways end up tasting it in my mouth and I hate when lip products do that! It has a shiny finish that lasts, it’s not sticky, and the shade dolly is a very sheer light mauve pink that looks like I wear a clear gloss. I didn’t notice any major plumping effect.

Pleasant vanilla flavor, but this gloss made my lips immediately tingle and burn until they felt numb. I saw and felt no positive plumping effects from the tingling.

I like this lipgloss. It does make my lips feel a bit numb which I assume is from the plumping additives, I don’t mind this. This shade is a pale mauve, not a shade I would normally go for but this does look really nice. Tons of shine and some glitter. It’s a little sticky which helps it last a long time. Issues are that if you do need to reapply I find it gets a little pilly and peels a bit on my lips. I likely would repurchase as this is a very nice shade.

I love all of Buxom’s lip products, especially the Full-On Lip Polishes. They work for me better than any other lip gloss, from NYX to MAC. They last a lot longer, which is the most important thing, but they are also tingly and less sticky than other brands I’ve tried. I really like using them to tone down bright lipstick colors and think they help keep them from transferring as much. I have a bunch of matte lipsticks that I never wear since they are so drying, but Buxom lip polishes make the color pop without looking dry. Dolly is a mauve-y color that looks really neutral on my lips. I could do without all the pinup/striptease kind of advertising on the box, but luckily the products themselves have really nice, neutral packaging.
