Got as a sample from Sephora Play. It’s a gloss with a slight blue tint to it–the idea being that you can throw it on over whatever you’re already wearing on your lips (or use it by itself), and you’ll have an instantly brighter smile. It might’ve been all in my head, but I swear it made my teeth look whiter. I wouldn’t purchase it on my own simply because I don’t take enough selfies to warrant it.

The Flash Photo Gloss is advertised as a gloss with a subtle blue that is not visible on the lips yet grants the effect of making your teeth look whiter, particularly in flash photography. Sounds nifty, right? Unfortunately, this product didn’t do anything for me. I think it would’ve been better if they made the blue iridescent effect way more prominent because I honestly could not see any change when I put this on. Might as well consider it a clear gloss.

I’ve seen many complaints about this gloss being excessively sticky, but personally I didn’t have any qualms about the formula itself. It’s just that I don’t see myself paying $20 for a gimmicky lip gloss that looks pretty in the tube but doesn’t work any better than your dollar store clear lip gloss.
