OK I got this in a small version with the same shade of lipstick (mini) and lip liner (mini). I tossed the liner when it broke the second time I used it. The lipstick mini is pretty but too pale and I’m an NW15 so ghost lips.
But the gloss is such perfection on top of ANY lipstick colour that I was going to buy it in the Sephora sale. At $35 Canadian that hurts, but it’s so nice. Creamy, not sticky, moisturizing with just the right hit of shimmer to liven up any lipstick. It’s a very pale nude pink sheer, so it doesn’t add colour, just shine and shimmer. The shimmer is a champagne to pale rose gold. Not sticky, a faint hint of mint that disappears thankfully without adding any plumping sting.
BUT in spite of that perfection, the price tag got to me. That is more than half of a good palette that will last a lot longer than a lipgloss that is merely a topcoat for other lipsticks.
SO I FOUND A DUPE:
It is in the Rimmel lipglosses, and it’s a shade called LOVE BUG. Same creamy lip moisturizing non sticky pale nude pink sheer with the same champagne shimmer, a little less rose gold and the shimmers are a little more pink. NO MINTY smell!
On the lips, the only difference is that the Rimmel is a little less obvious glitter, and more refined glimmer and glow. Yeah, a little nicer. Not quite as thick. No minty smell.
And the cost of the Rimmel on sale at London Drugs: $6 Canadian.
Savings: $29
So take your pick whichever you like, they are both good, both add a shimmer to the lips, both moisturize equally well, but the Rimmel costs $29 less.

This lip gloss met my expectations – and I had them. The shade ‘Skin deep’ is beautiful although much more mauve with the cool purple undertones rather than a true skin flesh colour. This gloss gives an even colour with a beautiful finish. Shine without the sticky feel. This is lush. Also, the packaging is ace.

My absolute favorite gloss – I use the Cream and Sugar shade everyday. If it’s ever d/c I’ll be so upset. The packaging is just beautiful. the gloss is a thick formula but not sticky like Mac, minty but not too much (like Buxom) and perfect shimmer that is not at all gritty. After hearing a fair amount of positive hype around these lipglosses, I scored a pretty generous deluxe sample from Sephora with BI points recently in the shade Sugar Sugar. The gloss feels nice on the lips, but oh my god the color is atrocious and unflattering. Even though it is not sticky, it still gets those stringy swamp-monster threads that thick lip glosses get when you press your lips together. The packaging is nice, and I like the mintiness, but I really do not think that these glosses are for me.

I’ve purchased 2 of these recently, one in “Pretty Thing”, which is a true pinky mlbb shade, the other in ” Make Me”, which is a gorgeous deep plummy mauve, with a grayish purple undertone, super pretty.. I like these a lot. I have tons of glosses, and these rank right up there with my favs from MAC, NARS, etc.. They have a nice applicator, look classy, have good pigment, and wear well.. I look forward to picking up a few more! Definitely recommend. ????????????

I found this gloss to look patchy, feel very sticky, and look (dare I say..) cheap. For the price point, there are hundreds of glosses out there much better than this. Don’t be fooled by the classy packaging, the pretty colors, or the fact that Jaclyn Hill raves about these. I bought the shade “Sugar Sugar”, and I was so excited to try it because of all the great reviews. To me, it was simply too gloppy, sticky, and patchy. I was very underwhelmed by it, and nothing about the formula felt luxurious or at all worth the money. It was also strangely drying, and felt like a mask of goop on my lips. It sucks because so many people love this, and for the life of me I cannot figure out why. There are MUCH better glosses out there (Buxom, Dior, YSL). To me, the prices are justified in the cases of those brands when it comes to the fact that it is a much superior product, with gorgeous high-end packaging to boot. Not worth it. I recommend saving your money on this one, or try to snag a sample size (or borrow a friends/trying in store) before buying.

I bought the Marc Jacobs Enamored gloss in the shade Sugar, Sugar. The shade is described on Sephora as a champagne gold shimmer. To me, the color is nude with high shine. There is no glitter or shimmer to this. I don’t see any gold. I really like this gloss because it’s semi opaque so it allows your natural lip color to show through with the gloss. I have a hard time finding a good nude gloss because it’s either too pale and my lips look oddly colored or it’s too dark and the nude ends up pulling more brown against my fair skin tone. This made my lips look nude/pink and very shiny. This gloss would be a nice topper to lipsticks or paired with lip liner as well. I found the gloss to be comfortable on the lips and it didn’t dry me out. I liked the strong minty smell too. The gloss itself have minimal staying power. You would have to reapply this frequently but I don’t mind. Overall, I really enjoyed this gloss and I would recommend it.

This gloss is SO drying. It looked pretty and moisturizing upon application, but after a few days of using it I realized my lips were absolutely parched. My lips are prone to dryness anyway, but this gloss brought it to a whole new level. This is the most drying gloss that I’ve ever used.

Is it a product that is 100% worth the money?- no- you can get equally good glosses for 5 times less. But if you like high end, luxuriously packaged makeup, go for it. I have a soft spot for Marc Jacobs Beauty products, loved almost everything from this brand I used, ans I enjoy the glosses too.
The formula is moderately sticky- as long as my hair doesn’t cling to my mouth, I can handle that level of stickiness.
I also like the applicator (think UD Naked concealer wand), it’s easy to use.
I own shades “Pretty Thing” (pale pink, I wear it when I go for my usual bold, colorful eye makeup) and “Hey, You” (pale red). Some shades have specks of glitter, some are more opaque than others. There’s a nice variety of different shades and finishes, just like with most MJB products.

I don’t understand why these have a low rating. These are the most beautiful, reflective, interestingly pigmented, dynamic lipgloss
that I’ve ever tried. Gorgeous on the lips, wears off evenly, and comes in very unique colors. Overall these are my favourite lip glasses of all time other than the Fenty gloss bomb.
