I bought this in the limited edition sprinkle town “pot of gold”, so the other colors may be better. But for this color, i was thinking gold shimmer lip gloss? No. This is straight up gold tint with gold glitter on your lips. Gritty glitter. And wiping it off is a mess (unless you have something under, using this as a topper.). Didnt think it was a topper, being that it said lip gloss on the packaging, but this was disappointing. I dont even think Id use it as a topper, the glitter just sticks to your lips. Ugh. Waste of money.

Nowhere on the nyx site does it describe this as pure glitter chunks, but does mention using this as a topper. My gold one had no color, it was packed with glitter. Not shimmer. Glitter. And lightweight– no way. Its loaded with mineral oil.

I give this 4 stars because only 3 of the shades worked for me. They are cocktail party, fairplay and gypsy dreams. The texture is nice and it looks great when worn over a darker lip color.

So pretty and fun! It has no scent and is so pigmented. I chose Booming- a bubblegum pink with chromatic peach/yellow shimmer. It lasts long and it looks good alone or as a topper.

If you’re looking for a unique and affordable lip gloss look no further than the Nyx Duo Chromatic Lip Gloss. This gloss is a pigmented yet not overly sticky or gritty gloss that comes in 10 different duo chrome shades with pearlescent finishes. I picked up four different shades of this gloss and found that some are more sheer than others, but all of them have a beautiful finish and are long lasting. If you want to prolong the wear of your lip color and add some shine this gloss is a great options. They so transfer as most glosses tend to, but even with that, the wear time of these are beautiful. i am definitely going to go pick up a few more shades because this gloss is bomb!

The NYX Professional Duo Chromatic Lip Gloss is an absolutely beautiful option if you are looking for a bold and beautiful lip. The formula is not sticky at all and actually lasts quite a while. It definitely does transfer. The formula and texture is quite similar to the NYX Cosmic Metals Lip Cream. The color selection is limited but there is at least one color for every one. The formula I find to be quite moisturizing and I like the fact that it doesn’t have any taste to it at all. My more detailed review with swatches can be seen here:
