I bought two of these (Electromagnetic and Celestial) at the time when there were not many choices of Metallic lipstick. Sadly, after purchasing other ranges of metallic lipstick, I stopped using this one as this is the least of my favorite formula. Yay to the color range, really really beautiful selection and yay to the pigmentation. Really opaque and just a swipe gives u a full beautiful glittery coverage. Sadly, the formula is not for me. It doesn’t dry off and it’s super sticky on my lips which makes it uncomfortable. It is more towards a gloss kind of formula. Quite sad that I had to throw this away.

I love other Nyx lipstick, but the formula for this one never dries for me. I had more transfer than usual and a lot of slippage since it never dried. The colour is great and it worked better as a liquid eyeliner than a lipstick for me.

This is great for a one and done event night. Purchased at the NYX store for the L.A. Dodgers WS in Celestial Star which is the perfect color Blue. Stayed on all night, was not drying and did Not smear. I was Not willing to pay $20 blue MAC lip product not worn regularly. However I wear MAC and Nars products as my usual lipstick for more wearable colors. If you wear brazen colors on the regular like blue, purple, green, then you may want to invest in MAC or Kat Von D.

A perfectly fine product but not my cup of tea. I tried Speed of Light on a lark despite the fact that I’m not big on anything that makes my lips look shiny. It’s extremely pigmented; one swipe and you’re set, but it’s thick and goopy and not remotely what I reach for in a lip product. Plus, Speed of Light kind of clashes with my cooler tones. I’m sure it would look stunning on warmer, deeper skin tones.

I have the shade Electromagnetic, which is a teal with blue glitter. It is a very bright shade by itself, but the glitter bumps it up another notch. It’s definitely a statement colour!
The Cosmic Metal Lip Creams have a very particular formula that some will love and others will hate. The formula is a thick, slightly sticky gloss that you will feel on your lips. Despite being wet and obviously easy to smear/transfer, it doesn’t feather out of the lip line and lasts a good amount of time so long as you don’t eat a meal, wearing quite evenly. It is very pigmented and only needs one layer to reach full opacity. It isn’t overly hydrating, but it isn’t drying. It has no scent or taste and doesn’t irritate my lips or the skin around them.
If you’re a fan of glossy formulas and don’t mind the extra care you have to take to keep looking good, these are really lovely lip creams with unusual colours and great pigmentation.

I got this in Galactic which is the glittery metallic gunmetal colour for my Halloween costume. I absolutely will not be using this. I’m giving it 2 lippies because the packaging is good and the colour is gorgeous.
This goes on like a thick, sticky gloss which is ok and to be expected,, but it is quite gloopy as well and I could just not make it work. I tried it alone, applying with a lip brush, over lip primer, with lip liner and a combination of things. It just doesn’t want to stay on my lips. It seems to want to settle on my teeth and glob up in patches on my lips. I think this would be great for photoshoots, but there is no way I can conceive of eating, drinking, or talking with this on. It just slides all over my mouth in a sticky, oily way. Maybe it’s the colour I got because this has high ratings around the net, but I just can’t do it. Wearing this would involve too much maintenance to make sure it stayed put.

I don’t know what other shade I’d want so no to rebuy. But I got Metropolitan Nights it’s really pretty! I saw it on my fave YTer. But I can’t get it to stay in a precise line on my Cupid’s bow. It’s very frosty which I love. I don’t normally buy from this line. What I have bought has been very good. I have lip products, liquid eyeliner, lipliners, eyeshadow palette, & brows products. All very good. I don’t go to target much & ulta like never so Macy’s dot com sells NYX or else eBay so i get it there. This lipgloss is thick & sticky u don’t mind that but others may object. Contains phlalates.

The pigmentation is incredible!! I have speed of light and i like to wear just a little bit of product and spread it on my lips so it does’t look too metallic and it’s more and every day look. surprisingly it’s not to sticky and pretty comfortable to wear

I tried Electromagnetic (teal) and I have to admit how impressed I was with ease of application. The formula is thick enough to not slip around when going around the outside of your lips and I didn’t find it sticky. (Also, it didn’t feather, which was REALLY impressed by.) I expected it to set a little, not like a liquid matte but to not stay like a gloss. Warning, it does stay like a gloss. I put it through the ultimate food test (a burger) and it did not survive, as expected. The bigggest thing about it is staining, so you have to commit to wearing it lest you just end up with a creepy green stain on your mouth. There’s no way I would buy the “normal” colours, pretty as they are, because there are alternatives that have less of the unpleasant qualities, but the experimental colours are gorgeous and for $7.50, I’m willing to put up with the issues.

These are kind of yummy…I got the rose gold color Speed of Light. It is frosty. It is pearly and I guess that’s considered metallic. They are not without issue however. The formula is thick and fluffy. Which can be an issue if you don’t wipe off the applicator a little before applying. Also, you might blot a little if it feels like it’s too much. Basically, this is a thick, opaque lipgloss. I like the formula. I like the color I have…can’t wait to build a look with it!
