First let me say this does not compare to MAC Love Nectar at all! This color is kind of off on my NW20 skin. MAC’s Love Nectar is perfect on my NW20 skin. Actually, Berry Burst has an icy, cool tone to it’s pinkness. At first it looked very neutral on my lips, but then I noticed how it did nothing for the rest of my complexion. When I put on MAC’s Love Nectar, it warms up my whole face and gives me a sexy pinky, peachy pout. I would never compare these two as some have done below. Berry Burst is a cool toned pink gloss…great for those NC girls. Not for my golden, pink skin…way too icy. I would recommend it for my friends that can wear colors like Prrr or other cooler glosses. For me, I prefer a warmer tone. As for the L’Oreal tubes, I like Golden Splash and Watermelon Crush.

HG!! LOVE THIS LIPGLOSS! I topped most of my lipsticks with this l/g! I think it is very comparable to MAC’s lipglosses, like Love Nectar. I bought Love Nectar and returned it because it had the same effect as this L’Oreal l/g, so why pay $14 for MACs?! I got L’Oreal l/g as a gift, but I would definitely re-purchase!! I know these can be pricey like $7 or so, but they do go on sale, so catch the sales! I got a L’Oreal juicy l/g for only $1.25 last time! This l/g gives a slight tint of pink to your l/s. It’s long lasting and no noticeable glitters on your lips! Gives beautiful wet pouty lips, SEXY! haha.. 🙂 .. only negative is maybe the tube for application because I’ll use a lip brush to apply. I think this beats VS l/g also.

FEB UPDATE: I have been wearing Berry Burst over all of my light lipsticks and I have changed my mind about this product ~ four lippies vs. three. I love this color and it looks great on. It’s a very subtle pink that looks good with warm skin tones. I am not crazy about the applicator, and have been using a lip pencil to apply. I will definitely buy Berry Burst again…
Just bought this from drugstore.com and they sent me the old tube with the round top. I have been looking for a pink to wear over my lipsticks and this is not the one. It’s slightly pink (more clear) with sparkles, that’s it. I was hoping for a gloss with a little more color. I am going to return this and will not by this color again…
