This was on ok lipgloss, though it wasn’t shines at all.
I didn’t think it was too at key, it didn’t smell offensive, and it felt ok on my lips.
The applicator was this long paddle, which was slightly odd, but after the Maybelline Elixir applicator, everything else seems lacking.
I like that the tube is clear, so I can readily see what the color is.
I don’t think this lipgloss is moisturizing. In fact, my lips felt dry once this gloss wore off.
I didn’t notice any staining, and the colors are pretty. The glittery ones don’t feel horrible on my lips, like some lipgloss do (like sandpaper).
The colors are very transparent, and don’t have a lot of pigment.
There isn’t any minty tingle, which I hate in lip products.
These are an ok lipgloss, but I’ve used better.

I bought the color in luminous because I loved the golden peach shade and actually got the last one. Love the way it looks but was irritated by what happened when I went to fish it out of my purse to reapply it. Apparently this product does not deal well being anything but upright because when I opened it it all gooped out everywhere. I love the shade and wanted to try more but not being able to take it with me wherever I go is annoying.

I picked this up for the the color. I thought that for the price, it would update be decent. Boy was I wrong! This is probably the worst lip gloss that I have ever tried. It’s just as sticky, and goopy as something that you’d find at the dollar store. It’s so globby, that when you open your lips after you apply, you get strings of product that stretch. Nasty.
Not to mention, it’s so thick and heavy that it’s not breathable at all.
I threw mine right in the trash.

These are lovely. While a tad sticky, they are pretty terrific shades well worth the trouble. The smell is nice, vanilla-y. What is best is the consistency of colors and the moisturizing effect. I love the Black Cherry and especially Brownberry shades. They are vampy and gorgeous on someone with light skin. Not as harsh looking as lipstick in these shades. I’m on a 20s/90s kick with the goth type, vampy makeup right now and these are perfect for that, without looking like every day is Halloween.

I have this in ravish raspberry. The color is lovely, exactly what I wanted. It is very pigmented, nice color payoff. My biggest gripe is the texture–this gloss is sticky. I don’t normally wear gloss so I can’t contrast this with other glosses, but I found it to leave a heavy and tacky feel on the lips. My hair kept getting stuck to it. Other than that, it has a brilliant shine and beautiful color, and I like the flat applicator. It also has a strong vanilla smell. I have this 3 lipsticks because the texture would deter me from buying this again, although I will wear it until the tube is empty.

I got this in the color Florence, a dark rich mauvey red color with tons of sparkles in it. I have to say this has amazing color payoff, almost as good as a lipstick in itself; but I have to say that the formula is very sticky and as the color faded on my lips throughout the day it left a weird line surrounding my lips with a very pink stain that was hard to remove. My lips felt extremely dry after I used this too! So this I wouldn’t repurchase again…
In this video I show you the product along with swatches!

I purchased Red my lips at my local dollar store for $2. The color is nice the only con is that it’s a bit too sticky. Other than that, the color is nice.

I love these glosses. They are great glosses for the price point ($4.99 CAD) and last quite a while. So far I have these in 5 different shades, and have repurchased.

These glosses are fantastic. I have Red My Lips and Rose Blush, which has just the right amount of shimmer. The gloss is sticky, as others have noted, but has enough staying power that it’s not sliding all over your face. The color definitely doesn’t last all day, but that’s expected of a lip gloss. Moisturizing, not too greasy or wet feeling, and great pigmentation.

I don’t know why I continue to buy Milani products, because I end up not enjoying anything I pick up! It was with hesitation that I purchased one of these Brilliant Shine Lip Glosses, this one in the limited summer edition color Dolci. In the tube it looks like a foiled, fabulous rose gold. (There is also a companion lipstick but the name escapes me.) This is my first (and last) Brilliant Shine Lipgloss and, while I can say that the color is what I expected and wanted, I’m not a fan of this formula… at all. I don’t get all the “sticky” comments that other reviewers are noting, because the formula for this one runs thinnish and applies somewhat patchy. I find that it works best for me if I kind of dot it on over a lip primer and gingerly press my lips together to spread the color. Just flat out swiping this one across the lips causes a mess. So I think I’m officially done with Milani products.
