I use the Beautifying Lip Smoother as a balm while I do the rest of my makeup. For me, it is not milky enough nor pigmented enough to really “beautify” my lips in any other way than making them subtly shinier, but it does sink in nicely and moisturize the lips enough for lipstick application. It is nice under lipstick as well, but it does sheer out the color a bit, which is not something I always want–but when I do, it is a go-to product for that kind of look. The packaging is nice and looks kinda high-end, which makes sense since Catrie is clearly trying to emulate Clarins with this product. I like the flocked applicator as well, because it feels soft gliding over the lips. The formula is thin and slippery but it feels very balm-like, hence why I like to use it as a balm. I probably would repurchase this, given its low price point and the fact that it lightly moisturizes the lips while adding a hint of shine.

I love everything about this balm but it’s not forgiving for chapped lips at all. It will show each and single little dry spot or wrinkle, otherwise very nice product def recommend for lucky people with smooth lips.
Pros: cheap; nice sweet but not to sweet scent; pleasant taste; simple but cute packaging; smooth cream consistency; pretty colors
Cons: doesn’t look smooth if you have even slightly chapped lips

What the shiznit,Catrice!! How you do your magic?!
I am never the lip balm/lip gloss kind of girl even I do have dry lips. They’re all sticky and make my lips feel so uncomfortable. Until I found UD Pocket Rocket. They are the least sticky, nice,subtle-but-there pigmentation, cute packaging and I particularly liked the applicator.
But it was discontinued and I’ve been lip gloss-less. Out of curiosity,I picked this one randomly and I lost it.
Oh yes this is UD Pocket Rocket #Rashad but WAY better. Way,way, better!
No need to swipe any applicator onto your lips. The texture is right. Thick but doesnt stick. Slick but not heavy. Balmy?. I didnt notice any suspicious smell but a faint vanilla-ish scent that dissipates asap.
My super dry lips LOVE it so much!! And it is only USD 3?! Are you kidding mee?? Why did I get that 22 bucks lip gloss?!
I have found it! My HG lip gloss!

This is an excellent lipbalm. It moisturizes and gives a light glow to the lips. It comes in 3 colours and I have 020 Apricot cream. It is a Lipbalm for smooth lips, has shiny finish and optically even outs fine lines. My lips but better I suppose. The lasting power depends on whether you will eat or drink. It’s not a lipstick but a lipbalm so I would say it lasts about 2 hours. Quantity is 9ml and has lasted for ages.
I also want to try 030 Cake Pop.
I will buy this again.

Catrice says:
The Beautifying Lip Smoother complements every natural make-up look: a subtle colour-dispersion in pastel shades with a glossy finish ensure a soft, well-groomed appearance. The Lip Smoother visibly evens out fine lines around your lips for flawless results. Its flock applicator and the practical tube packaging guarantee an easy application.
Catrice took a look at the Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector and made the Beautifying Lip Smoother in 3 different shades (the lightest one will dissapear from the shelfs this Summer (2015)). I have owned several of the Clarins perfectors and always loved them. When I got allergic to fragrance in my make up I could no longer wear the Clarins perfector. I have no idea if they contain fragrance but they stinged my lips when I used them so I simply tossed them.
Back to the Catrice Beautifying Lip Smoother. The tubes AND the gloss looks and feels like the Clarins perfectors (but no stinging, yay!). I do like the Catrice version more as I love the coral shade (030 Cake Pop). They did add some aroma (flavour) but Im not having problems with it at all.
They last pretty long on my lips, the moisturizing effect lasts for like 4 hours, the colour it self for 2 hours. Will def buy them again, yay!
