I do my best to wear natural lip colour because you end up ingesting the products on your lips. It is often hard to find natural lip colours that are very rich so I was really impressed with the deepness of the colour. It is a really lovely dark purple hue. It is a bit sticky so you need to use the want to apply it carefully because it’s hard to spread with your lips. It’s moderately long lasting and surprisingly moisturizing. Of the natural lip colours available it’s pretty good. My biggest complaint is the price. It’s on the expensive side so I’m still on the look out for cheaper alternatives.

What it delivers:
Slightly tinted and sticky lips in a color halfway between my own lip color and the purple color you see in the tube.
It is definitely a challenge to put this lip gloss on. First you have to make sure you even have color to smear on your lips – that wax ain’t easy to work with… Secondly you have to try, try, try to spread it somewhat evenly. Thirdly, do not move your lips in any way to avoid bleeding.
Lastly, it wears off in no time. Conclusion: nothing worth spending your money on.

I was surprised to see how many negative and middling reviews this product had in the general (no color specified) review. I rather like this lip product.
This is the darkest shade in the range, and I was surprised at the color payoff. It gives a deep purple sheen to the lips, with a pearl finish–not frosty, which I can’t stand, and no glitter either. It’s not opaque by any means, but the color is impressive for those who have used the essentially unpigmented tinted lip balms.
The packaging is fairly standard, with a doe’s foot applicator. The consistency is a bit sticky, but nothing unusual for any similarly packaged gloss. I find the smell slightly sweet and fairly neutral, and the lasting power about what you’d expect for a gloss.
At full price it’s a bit steep, but I’d say it’s worth buying if you can find it on sale, or if you have a particular fondness for natural lip products.
