These are great highlighters that work on fair skin. They have a metallic finish. However, they do emphasize texture.

Sooo beautiful. I am more on the fair side but my friend with medium- dark tried it and it looked stunning still. Definitely repurchase

The ABH Glow Kits are made in China, which is why I haven’t purchased any until the Sugar Glow Kit came around. I just didn’t feel like spending high end prices for Made in China products. However, this one looked so pretty I had to buy it.
Let me start by saying that I wouldn’t repurchase the kit. Not because it’s a bad product, but simply because I don’t use it. Two of the highlighters are finely milled powders (Marshmallow and Starburst). They have no chunky specks of glitter and apply very nicely to the skin. They’re definitely made for fair to light skin tone. If your anything over NC25 I think they would look too frosty. I’m NC20 but with an olive undertone and I feel like even on my skin they are too white and silvery.
The other two powders (Gumdrop and Butterscotch) are very chunky and glittery. I tap off the brush as much as I can so that the majority of the glitter falls off, but I’m still not able to get a smooth, non chunky application. Personally, I can not stand glitter in highlighters, so I’m not too keen on those shades.
All in all I think I should’ve done more research on this product. If you like highlighters with a frosty sheen and you also don’t mind glitter, then you’ll definitely get some good use out of it. I can definitely see this product being a HG for a lot of people.
However, if you’re like me and you prefer a golden sheen in highlighters and hate glitter, you’re not gonna end up using this too often.

Before I say anything about the new Anastasia Beverly Hills Sugar Glow Palette- if you have many of her previous glow kits you probably don’t need this one. Many of these colors have similarities to colors in past glow kits. The one thing that I’ve noticed in the last two Glow Kits- Aurora and this one, is that the formula seems to be a little different. It isn’t quite as creamy as in the past, but I can’t quite put my finger on what is different. Despite that, this is still a fabulous glow kit for someone looking for some beautiful colors to use anywhere on their face, eyes, or elsewhere.
