I have a medium olive complexion so I bought both the nude and gold shades. I don’t care very much for the balm side, but the actual highlighters and pigments are amazing. The highlighter stick glides on to a powder finish and is easy to blend. The pigments are so finely milled they feel absolutely luxurious when you swipe your finger over them. Neither color is over the top glittery like some highlighters can be, they both have just the right amount of shimmer to give you that dewy/glowing look. The pigments are a sheer wash of muted gold or pink flash and they enhance the accompanying shade for a more dramatic effect.
These can be subtle enough for everyday use if you use just the highlighter. Lasting power is great compared to other highlighters – when I get home from a full day at work I can still see the product on my skin. I, like many others that have reviewed this, have not been a big fan of the packaging. Aside from feeling cheap, the stickers are bubbling off and sometimes the cap will pop off the balm side when I’m trying to open the highlighter. At $72 dollars USD, this is not cheap, but you’re getting 3 products and a decent duo-fibre brush for that. I apply the product mostly with my fingers, but the brush is good to blend out lines and give a soft wash of the pigment. The quality of the product itself is enough to overlook the cons. Absolutely love it.

I purchased this in the Nude shade. This highlighter seemed to be a different concept because you can mix textures and colors to create the look you want. The powder is an iridescent glow with an opal-like cast to it. The balm side of the dual end stick provides a wet look to the skin that causes a glow without being garish or over the top. The highlighter side of the stick is a champagne/gold/pink that is creamy and easy to blend. I have used the powder alone and I have also played with the balm and cream highlighter together. The combinations seem endless. The brush is a duo fiber brush and it looks almost identical to the Hakuhodo H3922 brush. It applies the powder highlighter flawlessly. I am wearing just the powder today and it is gorgeous in both artificial and natural light. I think the opalescent quality to this powder adds such an interesting dimension to the highlight on the skin that I do not get with my other highlighters. None of these items have a scent to them and the textures for each of them are so nice and so easy to work with. The cream/balm highlighter packaging is substantial and the caps click on securely. The powder compact is black plastic with a clear lid that showcases the beauty of the powder it holds. It is certainly not an elegant compact but it has a secure clasp and is not heavy. I am surprisingly happy with this purchase. I have worn this for 6 hours so far today and it looks exactly like it did when I put it on this morning.
The price tag is high but for me it was worth it because I love the way this looks on my skin

I am so happy I was able to snag one of these! I have the color golden because I felt it would go better with my brown skin. This item comes in the cutest packaging (which I will NOT be throwing away) and the kit comes with a balm/highlighter duo stick, a brush Pat McGrath sourced from Japan, and a small iridescent highlighting powder compact. These items can be mixed to give you differing levels of glow and shine.
The highlighter isn’t as much golden as it is a mix of gold and blue/green pigments. It reminds me a teeny bit of NARS Albatross.
I am happy to report that the duo stick is very easy to blend out with a finger. I have had highlighter sticks that won’t blend well and I was afraid this would be the same, but it’s not.
The stick highlighter gives you a much more golden -sheen- than a glow and this is what I would prefer for everyday use.
At first I was afraid of the balm, since I have oily skin and I didn’t want to look any oilier than I needed to. However, you can build up the intensity of this product. I dab some on my finger and then gently dab the product onto the very highest point of my cheekbone on up onto the side of my brow bone. I usually mix this with the highlighting end. It gives me the prettiest sheen without you being able to tell where it ends or begins.
Overall, I am extremely happy with this product and can’t wait to test it out more. I am thinking I might get the nude on after all, when It launches at Sephora.
