I bought this on the basis it’s a stick highlighter as opposed to the more common liquid, cream and powders on the market, and thought it would be easier to apply in more precise areas on my face.
This was a massive fail for me. The colour in the tube looked lovely – a really subtle rose shade – but once applied it was practically invisible. There are large chunks of glitter in it too, which are pretty much the only things visible once applied, which is not a look I want at all. Blending is near impossible because it dries really quickly and because of that, it made the areas of my face where I applied it feel really tight and dry.
I’ve seen rave reviews of this elsewhere on the ‘net, but I can’t say I agree with any of them. For the price – £3.99 – I may have been expecting too much, but I’ve had a lot of success from other Barry M products in the past and was expecting similar results with this. Massively disappointing.
