I like it but it’s definitely ‘nice to have’ rather than a must-have product. I use it (when I remember) as a setting powder, and because I rarely set my face with any sort of powder (just my nose) It just lies there unused. But it is pretty and it does look nice when on – as a highlighter would be just meh as for me it’s too subtle but as a setting powder gives me that nice glow. The darkest colour I never use, just doesn’t really go with my skin tone (i am never that tanned and it kinda leans too much towards orange in my opinion).
If you wanna try this sort of product then go ahead, i swirl my soft fluffy blush in it and that is just enough.

Over-hyped product! When I rub my brush on the lighter 2 of these nothing comes off they’re rock hard. The colour doesn’t show up on my skin (light – med) so its useless to me as a setting powder or highlighter. The bronzer is weird probably would look good as a highlighter on very dark skin but on me is garish OTT and really artificial looking. Very shimmery and has no function for me. I dont know what skintone would benefit from this combo ????. Case is massive – clunky and takes up too much space. Sorry about the gripes as I love most MU Rev stuff but this is no dupe for high end highlighters or skin enhancers.

DISCLAIMER: I was not a big fan of highlighters, they didn’t appeal to me as I have combo-oily skin, so adding extra shine or glittery stuff on my face is out of the question.
However, I bought this palette a year ago, out of curiosity of course, I wanted to see why people go gaga over this type of product and of course I wasn’t gonna aim high, no Becca or Hourglass for that matter.
TBH this palette speaks nothing to me…I did not get the glowing highlighted cheekbones that people were talking about. I have tried all the 3 shades but nothing wowed me really. It was more like meh…
Anyhow, I purchased a new highlighter 2 weeks ago from Tarte and now I kinda know what I was missing.
Soooooooo…here are my thoughts on the product now that I have something to compare it with…
this palette is affordable first and foremost, comes in 3 different shades, but all the shades are quite chalky and powdery, lots of kick-up, finger swatches look nice but on the brush it looses the intensity.
The first shade on the left does not show on my skin, very minimal and the more I packed on, the more cakey I looked..irony of life…
The second shade in the middle turns my skin grey-ish and doesn’t want to stay on my face.
the third shade on the right is the nicest one on me, but again, the longevity is not there.
At one point, all the shades seem to become kinda muddy throughout the day even when I set my makeup with setting spray.
Overall, this palette is not bad or horrible, especially if you are on a budget or want to venture into the highlighters realm without investing too much money. The pans are huge and will last you an eternity.
But once you’ve tried higher-end products, you will notice the difference of the performance and overall longevity.

I bought this to try out in place of the beautiful but ridiculously priced Hourglass pallet for setting my makeup and subtle highlighting. I don’t like fake over the top highlighting with sparkles that migrate all over the face and in my experience cheap highlight powders usually look exactly that..cheap. This was such a pleasant surprise. It’s finely milled and gives my skin a nice glow without the cheap looking glitter. It’s great for my combo skin and sets makeup we’ll. I use a more matte finished powder to set under my eyes and around my nose and use a light wash of the far left neutral shade as a final setting powder for the perimeter of my face. The lightest middle shade makes a great subtle highlight powder for the the usual areas and the bronze shade on the right looks beautiful as a bronze blush color.
I think I paid $12 for this at Ulta with a coupon and like it so much I’m not gonna shell out the $60 for the Hourglass palette. This does the same job at a fraction if the price. I can’t imagine that the Hourglass palette would perform better enough to justify paying that much more.

I have this palette even thou I have golden/vivid/Peach Lights singles of the vivid highlighters becoz I am a MUR highlighter, blush; & bronzer addict (MUR & in general) but I had to have this palette. I hate to be the lone dissenter (nobody likes a jerk!), but I had the ambient light palette back when it was $82 & my most expensive beauty product (not anymore ::smirks::) but ALP is a lot higher quality finely milled powder better end results but not all of us care to spend $62 or w/e they’ve discounted it to $62 or w/e becoz people did not care to pay as such once was more than enough it was great plenty money & im spending much less on MU/using up in 2017 I’ve nearly used up ~ALP so this is more than adequate & product is high quality low price, can be difficult to find but so W O R T H. I T!!! Give it a chance I think u will be pleased w it <3 #winning !!

This is such a delight to have! I have bought this initially as an affordable highlight palette option but after seeing reviews and tutorials of it as an overall setting powder, I’m just blown away! How have I never owned this before?! Now I can’t step out of the house without it! It gives such a lovely glowy airbrushed effect on the skin over any foundation! This works better for combo/oily skin as its quite powdery upon application but after a while just melts into a beautiful goddess like finish! Makes me look fresh and healthy and I get plenty of compliments how good my skin looks! Will keep on repurchasing definitely.

Powdery, smells horribly. Not for me

This is a crazy good dupe for Hourglass’ Ambient Lighting Palette – in fact, it’s better than the original. I purchased the Hourglass version and was rather disappointed. I didn’t see much difference with the Radiant Light – not at all the case with Makeup Revolution’s version. I can definitely notice the softening effect with this and I love it. This palette is a fraction of the cost ($15 vs. $58) but outperforms the original in every way. I highly recommend and will definitely repurchase.

Bought this as a replacement for my single compact of radiant lights. Love it and use it every day. I’ve swatched hourglass and it brought my hand where I swatched out in a rash! I have no problem with this on my face. Really good product for the price. I think overall I will keep buying this when I run out.

This is a good dupe for the ambient lights by hourglass. They are not highlighters per se, they just give your skin a nice “candlit” glow. For the superb price point it’s well worth giving them a go.
