I purchased this product in Bare Light and Pink Light and I’m mildly obsessed with them. They are fantastic highlighters that leave you with a very natural dewy SANS-SPARKLE glow. I decided since it’s finally summer here in Canada, that I’d try out the Bronze Light and for these warm months it’s perfect if you’ve already got a bit of a base tan happening (I’m talking about fair beauties here).
I use this one a little bit differently to the others since it’s highly pigmented and would not work for me as a general highlighter since I’m quite fair. I do my whole morning wash and moisturize routine, and then I take a dime-size amount of the Bronze Light, warm it up between my fingers and apply it all over my face as a bronze base. The trick is to really work it into the skin until you don’t see any product, rather just an overall bronze base. Then, I apply my foundation or BB Cream and the rest of my makeup. Don’t worry if this looks slightly orange or too dark on your skin, your foundation will even out the colour and what you’re left with is a beautiful beached bronzed look that’s perfect for summer!
WARNING: if you are extremely fair (I’m talking porcelain skin tone) this product will be far too pigmented for you and I would not recommend it!
For rich skinned beauties, this product will be absolutely gorgeous on you either as an all-over bronzer (like I described above) or a strategically placed highlighter.
I love these gems, they’re great for winter, spring, summer or fall for that year-round pick-me-up. Four shades to choose from: Bare, Bronze, Peach, Pink. At $20 a pop, you get a lot of product (30mL) and a little goes a long way.

A gorgeous bronze illuminator for medium brown skin tones. I love it. It applies smoothly, evenly and is not shimmery. I mix it with my foundation- colorstay in shades toast and caramel.

Did absolutely nothing for me. I couldn’t even tell I was wearing it. In comparison I have bronze in BECCA SSP and it looks gorgeous on. I ended up taking this back to Ulta.

I purchased this from Rite Aid about an hour ago, got it home, tested it out and it’s way too light and sheer for my NC45 skin. The texture is like smooth, thin face lotion and the color is a reddish based very slighty shimmery bronze. It would look gorgeous on someone of Beyonce’s/JLo’s complexion or lighter, but my Nia Long tone didn’t blink at this stuff. Back to Rite Aid I go…
