I have the Urban Decay Naked Highlighting Fluid in the shade Aura which is a beautiful pearly pale pink shade, which suits my N15-20 skin very well. The formula is very thin and liquidy, however as this product has a doe-foot applicator it is easy to work with. I simply swipe some onto the high points of my face then blend with a sponge. It is a very natural, healthy, lit-from-within highlight. It isn’t very shimmery. Just a natural look. It blends easily and is easy to work with. If you like a natural highlight and enjoy working with liquid products then you will enjoy this. I do find it quite similar to Benefit High Beam, so if you like High Beam you will probably enjoy this also. It is a great product!

Would love to buy this again if only it didn’t appear UD is discontinuing it . . . I prefer a natural highlight and this really fits the bill. It has a fine shimmer that doesn’t veer into metallic territory and it’s so easy to just dot onto the face and blend out with fingers. I wouldn’t have chosen the shade Luminous had I known about the gold in it, but as it turned out, it was barely noticeable and didn’t clash with my cool-toned skin. Admittedly, you don’t get a lot of product for what this retails for, but the fact that it travels well and can be built up depending on my mood for the day makes it a winner for me.

I enjoy this highlighter a lot, actually. I have many creams and powders to highlight, but with a lifelong battle staged against my very oily own “glow,” I do not want anything “blinding” or “seen from space.” “Lit from within” is just trite gobbledygook (you get that from health and happiness; don’t even try to fake it). I’m glad to have something that adds a little life back to my skin after I cover it to protect it from the sun. This is lightweight and natural. No metallic shine, no glitter, no tin man/robot nonsense. Avoid the stupid shiny trend, please. The cosmetics companies are making you look idiotic.

Purchased on sale at Sephora. I really enjoy the Naked Skin line, and have been replacing all of my powder products with creme formulas. Decided to give this a chance.
Not very pigmented in shimmer. They leave more of a white cast than any kind of highlight. Packaged just like the concealer and corrector, it often gets mistaken. You just cannot really see any payoff. I use it but ultimately end up applying another highlighter on top for better luminescence.
At $16 on sale, I wouldn’t buy again. I definitely wouldn’t pay full price. Sorry Urban Decay.
