A mineral finishing powder that gives skin a very subtle candlelit glow. Color is a fair ivory beige with a slight grey undertone that can get ashy if built up too much and tiny tiny gold microglitters.
Compared to Wet n Wild Reserve your Cabana its whiter, less pink, and less glittery. Both have that subtle glow but the glitters in the Lightscapade are micro refined and stay in place. Its a yellow leaning beige rather than a pink one. I have very fair olive-yellow NC5 skin and this matches my skin almost exactly. WnW Reserve Your Cabana is too pink and dark (and glittery) on me – better for cool pink beige undertones. For example, Tarababyz on Youtube has used Reserve Your Cabana as a finishing powder for years and its perfect for her light skin with pink undertone.
As a cheek highlighter I get a very very subtle glow. If I try and intensify the layers or apply it wet it quickly looks cakey and heavy. For days I want pop its best to this lightly as a base highlight then layer a “spotlight” blinding highlight on top. Or choose another highlight altogether.
As a browbone or inner corner eye highlight its a no for me. It emphasizes texture that’s not flattering on my mid 40’s eyes. Performs like a low end frosty satin eyeshadow like LA Girl.
Where it shines best, is used lightly as an all over finishing powder (after setting powder, before setting spray if you use them in your routine) for a pretty glow. Don’t do an even thick layer all-over the skin as it quickly looks heavy and cakey, and sucks the life out of skin. Keep a light hand and apply mostly to strategic areas you want to bring out. Then use the nearly empty brush over the rest of the face and neck to blend the parts together.
Packaging is pretty dire. Super ugly, annoying to open, and doesn’t protect the powder well if you travel with it or drop it.
Overall I like it but its an expensive way to get glow at NZ $66 (US $44 currently). I’ve had just as nice mineral finishing powders for half that, and glowy finishing sprays and facial oils also give glow for much less.

This works beautifully if you’re after a very subtle, natural-looking satin highlight for fair skin. I’ve also used it all over my face as an all-over finishing powder. It’s a nice product that lasts ages in the pan and looks stunning on your vanity (it’s like a pearl or something).

This is a beautiful satin highlighter. It looks natural on the skin and quite blinding if layered, without emphasizing texture. The color is a neutral shell white, perfect for fair skin. Definitely recommend this.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Scryvette from Easy to apply… Easy to apply and it turns your face like no other shade of red on your face. This is not a wispy add layer, but it does get really bright and bronzed easily with the traditional left over light eye polish remover.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nathan from Great matte skin polishes It really performs better with CreamyFazures. Its really such a flawless matte complexion all through the day. I also have my eyes clear very quickly with a morning 100% control.
Rated 5 out of 5 by RoomJean from Bright for The Deal I used this for 6 years straight. It was the perfect amount of brightening. I must say, I am very pleased with it so far, having already applied to my face and told others to change their mask makeup. I did have to change my chin because the color changed very quickly from applying 1/2 hour, to 10. I still had problems. When I applied it, I didn’t like how shadows or brushes turned out, but with this it was very easy to apply and apply a shade without thinking it would change.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Marion from Perfect for the summer Eyes have all and it’s going to get beautiful in the summer anytime soon.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Tachea from Amazing green color! Love this product. Used 2 soaps and 1 Ounce the mist became black. Filled my eyes up with an over/under glimmer in the first couple hours. Used 2 wands. applied on skin exposed to rain & snow (perfect!) This did all of my makeup and first day!!

I’m pretty picky with highlighters, but this one I love. I’m super pale and it looks great on my skin tone. I’m also unable to put a dent in it! My only complaint is that it can look a bit chunky if you layer it on.

I love the lightscapade shade. Unlike other highlighters, this is not intense but gives me a natural glow. This is the highlighter that I always use on my makeup and would probably purchase again after I use it all up.

It was the first product I ever bought as a highlighter, but now I feel that there are so much better products in the market…. It leaves a very natural dewy and glowing look. However, it vanished after a couple of hours of use, which is a bit of a let down. I still use it though. It still is a good product and I love to see how the colours get mixed in the pan.

This was the first highlighter i ever bought and I still love it! Has a pretty shift and suited to pale skin

I do love this product, perfect highlight if you are on the fairer side only complaint is that it doesn’t last, this completely disappears after about 2 to 3 hours, considering the price tag it’s a big disappointment and because of this I would not purchase again.

This my go to on everyday basis. It makes everythimg pop and glow in a natural way. I use it with a tad setting spray for a bit more intense look.

Amazing for a natural highlight!
If you’re looking for something very glowly and more intense then this isn’t for you.
The shine is subtle which works really well if you’re going for more of a dewy look, and want to use all over the skin as a setting powder rather than on feature points. (I tend to have to use a stronger highlight for some parts)
Swatches as a light champagne sort of colour with shimmer and very slight glitter.
Only down side is that it isn’t that long lasting but that may be due to the fact I’m an oily skin type and that it’s not a very strong highlight.
Packaging is durable and stays looking nice easily.
