   I got this in a CVS gift with purchase, otherwise I’d never have tried it.
   Highlighters don’t play well with my maturing yet somehow still oily skin. It’s not a look I can pull off easily.

   Enter Hello Halo in Glided Glow:
   I adore the glass bottle and applicator, very chic for the cost.
   The shade is beautiful. A pale bronze/gold, and there seems to be plenty of product.
   It dries super fast, so blend quickly.

   What ruins this for me, is that it’s just too glittery to wear as a highlight.

   But it works beautifully as a wash of color on the eyelid, brightens the eye and application is effortless. Just scrape any excess off the doe foot onto the lip of the bottle, swipe across the lid and pat to blend.
   It works so well, I may just pick this up in Halo, Goodbye to use as a lighter eye color.

   I have been looking for a perfect wet look highlighter. I got this because of rave reviews on youtube. It’s fine but it’s no better than the others! Including e.l.f. shimmer powder and baked highlighter, and WnW dewy primer. I still can’t achieve the look I see everywhere and I will just keep experimenting. Don’t get me wrong, it does give nice highlights but where is the shining strobe look??? Even applied in layers it’s just too subtle!

   Update: the powder ones I tried are much better. This is just streaky and it separates and will not apply evenly or blend properly. Also it is so greasy. It’s funny that the powders give a similar wet look without being greasy. I’ll still use it from time to time because I have it. Maybe I’ll find the optimal way to apply it.

   Update Oct. 3/19. I’ve experimented more and this does look fine if you don’t work on it too much. Just barely tap it on and blend in key areas. It is very greasy though and I don’t like the applicator. W n W has a squeeze bottle which is preferable. I kind of like both the liquid ones better than the powder ones as they don’t require so much buffing. I doubt I’ll buy it again as this will last for ages and I plan to try others, of course.

   Holy guacamole, this might be a HG for me. I have never been a big highlighter fan, and because I don’t love it, I haven’t wanted to splurge on a high end one (although I have swatched some, and I think used a few samples over the years). I think I’ve tried a couple of creme and liquid ones before, but I was never impressed, and was usually horrified by the results. Glittery messes, way too dark for my ghostly complexion, patchy, whatever, they just didn’t work for me. Enter this magical concoction, and my life is changed.

   First of all, I got this in the shade “Halo, Goodbye” which is a lovely champagne shade that isn’t too dark for me. I also love that it’s in a glass bottle, which I didn’t realize until after I got it home and opened it to play with it. Not bad for a less than $5 product, I think.

   I’m not crazy about the doe foot applicator, but it’s fine and it works. I’ve applied this with my finger and with a damp sponge, and I like the results of both, but I’ll update later if I decide I love one more. One thing to be aware of is that this seems to dry super super fast. I put a couple of dots on each cheek when I first tested it and blended one with a sponge, then when I got to the other side (literally like 20 seconds later) it was already almost dry and I had to do a kind of mix of patting and swiping to blend it out. I wear light coverage foundation, so that wasn’t a big deal for me, but I can see it messing up higher coverage bases. So, work fast and on one area at a time, just to be safe.

   Honestly, I think Wet n Wild’s powder highlights are okay, but they’re way too intense and a tiny bit glittery for my taste. If I’m going to wear a highlight, I want it to be subtle and just a bit glowy, not blinding. (Personal tastes. I think the blinding highlight can look amazing, it’s just not for me.) Part of that is because I have texture from scarring and stuff, and I feel like more intense highlights…well, highlight…those areas. I also have dry skin, which can also be emphasized by highlights. But this one? I finally understand what people mean by “lit from within” when talking about glowy products. I’ve seen it on other people, but never on myself. Can you still see the texture of my skin under this? Yep. But somehow this highlight doesn’t draw extra attention to it, and it gives me that gorgeous glow that isn’t too intense, oily looking, or glittery, and I’m a little obsessed.

   My favorite place to put this is actually my cupids bow, which has always been an awkward place to highlight for me for some reason. It’s so easy with this one. I just take the tiniest bit on my finger and tap it on and it looks perfect. I also love it as an inner corner highlight because it isn’t chalky like like powder shadows or highlights can be, and it just makes my eyes look a little brighter in a subtle way. I do still use it on my cheekbones, but I think even on days I don’t use it there, I’ll be wearing it on my inner corner and cupids bow because I love love love how it looks.

   I haven’t put this through any kind of intense wear test yet, so maybe it will totally fade throughout the day or melt down my face in the summer heat and humidity. I’ll definitely update if it does anything like that. But honestly, I wouldn’t mind it slowly fading away, as long as it doesn’t look weird and patchy.

   I was about to hop on here to rip this product apart. Every time I applied it with my sponge (both under powder and over powder), it would make product lift up/gather. However, I did a Hail Mary and tried with my finger – it worked. It lost a lippie because I don’t like it being finicky depending on the tool, but it looks really nice on the skin once you work it out with your finger. I was especially impressed because I’m not a huge fan of using cream/products under powder (all the color disappears once I set my face with powder!). However, this working on top of my powder is what won me over.

   Is it the best, holy grail foundation ever? No – but I would totally recommend, rebuy, and continue to use especially at the price point.

   Im rating this a full 5 because I have discovered another use for this product. Firstly, as a highlighter, I do love the applicator and the shimmer payoff it gives for a highlihghter. It dries quickly and leaves a beautiful Glow on the face. You can apply wherever you want it, high cheek bones, nose, chin and mostly, for a Quick on the go when I don’t feel like doing a full face, I dab some on me lids and it gives a beautiful and simple eyeshadow look. When I want something quick, I smear on my cheeks and eye lids and I am out the doorquickly and my face is Glowing and looks refreshed. You cant beat this for the price point, I actually own one in every color. WIN WIN WIN!!

   i definitely like the darkest color gotta glow 308B. i dont wear highlighter and i like it. i dont care to use the doefoot applicater. id prefer a q-tip but it glows. i put it on my eyebrows to give them a lift. im gonna start putting it in my inner and outer eye corners

   I got the shade Guilded Glow and I liked it somewhat, but I can’t recommend it. Here’s why…

   Pros
   -It blended easily (I used my finger)
   -It is a pretty color
   -A little goes a long way

   Cons
   -It fades if you don’t set it (I put it on my moisturized face, then blended it and did whatever I was doing for the day. After about 4 hours, majority of the highlighter faded. The next day, I set it with a face mist and it lasted 9+ hours on me.)
   -It is glittery (After it faded, there was glitter left on the faded areas of my face. I also noticed glitter on my arms ever since I started using this.)
   -It makes me look even more oily.

   This is the worst highlighter I have ever tried. I got a couple shades and no matter how little I applied it just made my skin look oily. I’ve never had this problem with another highlighter. I could get the same effect by just applying a dab of vegetable oil to my cheeks.

   I bought the bronze one. The product is fine but nothing to write home about. the doe foot applicator allows you to get a small amount. The highlighter blends well, too much in fact. It tends to disappear from my face. It feels like I have nothing on.
   I didn’t notice any funky smell.
   I’m not exactly in love with the product, I might have chosen a wrong color but for the price I can’t complain.

    This was okay. I got this in the lightest color, it was an opaque, whitish color with a purple hue. It was a nice shimmery color. I’d say it was holographic, not completely, but enough to be considered holographic.
    I used it on my eyelids and I liked the results. The only problem is that it’s kind of dewy and doesn’t dry very well, so it doesn’t stay on great. I prefer it as an eye shadow or eye topper rather than cheek highlighter, but that’s just my preference.
    I like that its liquid & holographic because I can’t seem to find any liquid drugstore highlighters, & despite the holographic fad I can’t find much holographic makeup in general in stores.
