   I’ve been buying and wearing makeup for many years now, and while it’s still enjoyable, it’s not exactly THRILLING anymore. This stuff thrilled me when I first swatched it. Boy, talk about packing a punch. It’s not glittery but it’s close. It’s a very yellow-gold powder with lots of shimmer. Honestly I do not wear highlighter at all, ever. I’m oily which makes me shiny which I hate. I’m not looking to be even shinier. But this stuff, while I won’t use it on my cheeks, I will dab it on my eyelids.It would be great if they made it in different colors. Maybe bronzier? Gorgeous product.

   This product is very pigmented, golden, and glittery. Don’t let the minimalist packaging fool you, the product packs quite a punch. With that in mind it can be a bit intimidating to use.So much so after I bought it, it ended up in the back of one of my vanity drawers lost and forgotten. When I picked it up and took the time to experiment with it, I realized just how amazing and versatile this product actually is. If you like to build up your highlight to blinding levels this product is definitely for you. If you like a subtle glow you may feel that this product is not for you, but it can be, especially when used sparingly. For my subtle glow makeup appliers all you need is a fan brush to help you build up your highlight to the desired glow. A little of this product definitely goes a long way.

   To be honest, my favorite way to use Trophy Wife is with other highlighters. Sometimes I feel that my natural looking highlighters are a bit too plain and when I want to spice it up with a Midas touch I take my fan brush and apply some Trophy Wife on top of my highlight.
   I also like to apply it as an eye shadow in two ways. Either in the inner corner near the tear duct for a pop of gold, or I lightly apply it over a brown matte shadow on my eyelids and call it a day. It is also an amazing way to add some sparkle on the neckline and cleavage area.
   This product will be a great way to let your skin shine on sunnier days.

   To be honest I’m not sure if I would buy this item again. I feel like it’s more of a novelty item and by the time I hit pan, better items similar to this would most likely be released.

   Bottom Line, don’t be intimidated by this product, it’s really beautiful when used sparingly.

   Unique color and formula; it is really glittery but the pigment is amazing. It picks up very well on a brush and works beautifully as an eyeshadow, but I ended up returning it because I knew for sure that I wouldn’t be able to use it up. Fenty markets this as being able to work for everyone, but it didn’t work out for me practically speaking. It’s way too gold and pigmented for my cheeks, and I have light-medium skin

   If this is too glittery for you but you still want a gold highlight, I would try blonde matchstik

   I love this look of this highlight. When you wear this people notice you. Gorgeous, i wear this over my blush as a very dramatic blush topper and it’s so beautiful. Very unique colour.

   I bought this when Fenty Beauty had just launched, and just now getting around to reviewing it. I looooooooooove this highlighter. I have … I would say medium tan skin tone with yellow/golden undertones (will update later with foundation shades), and it looks really good on me (sorry not sorry if that’s conceited to say). I always get compliments when I wear this highlighter! I think it’s a bit pricey but it comes with a decent amount, and I don’t see myself hitting pan on this anytime soon. Especially since a little goes a long way. It does have glitter so if that’s not your thing, you probably wouldn’t like it. I apply it with a fan brush.
