The formula for this set of five face/eye powders is fantastic; soft, easy to blend/buff, the shimmer doesn’t spread all over the face and they wear all day. The icy highlights Snowflake and Marzipan don’t look wildly different at face value, but on the face Snowflake is clearly cool with a faint icy blue tinge, whilst Marzipan is a touch warmer and has a hint of a champagne tone in certain lighting. My favourite items in this set, for sure.
Candy Cane goes on light as a flushed tone of blush, but is too pigmented for fair and light skintones to wear as a highlighter – I’ve tried wearing it as such and it leaves a pink shadow at the sides of my face. I didn’t think that I’d really bother with it much, but I’ve actually been reaching for it quite a bit. A lovely ‘healthy skin’ glowy blush shade.
Cinnamon Apple and Gingerbread also aren’t too different in their bronzey shades, but Cinnamon Apple is warmer and quite rosy on cheeks, while Gingerbread is pretty neutral. Way too dark for me to be able to use as highlighters and I’m not a big fan of non-matte bronzers, so these two compacts are being passed along to friends.
The shades chosen for this set won’t all work for any one person as actual highlighters, which is how they’re described – Revolution should have had three or four smaller sets for different skintones. This Christmas I hope that Revolution make their limited edition stuff available individually rather then in sets, as everyone will be left with things they won’t use when it’s all grouped together – plus you are paying above the RRP for the products in the set format [Highlight Hearts are £4.99 each].

Set of 5 highlighters bought in the after Christmas sales. Is a nice variety of pretty highlighters. My favorite is Marzipan this is a champagne with gold veins and looks really nice. Using a narrow brush I can use the striped ones as separate colors or with a highlighter brush swirl and mix up the colors. Now I have enough pretty highlighters for many years.Quality is nice enough for the price and they blend well. The packaging is a dupe to TF hearts.
