I have this highlighter in “Turnt,” but it’s only a sample size (0.1 oz), not even as big as the 0.2 oz mini. It is still in similar packaging as their regular roll-up stick and appears to be a metallic whitish-gold with a pink shift. It’s very pretty in the container, but IMO this is a horrible product! I can’t understand why anyone would like it. When you swipe it on, you can see the an off-white base with gold glitter in it. Nothing spectacular but it’s fine. But when you try to blend it, you lose the base color and end up spreading little flecks of gold glitter all over your cheek. And that’s what you’re left with – a bunch of individual gold flecks on your skin and that’s pretty much it. This is just glitter in a clear base when all is said and done. There is no way to get a different effect by changing your application method. You just get glitter.
I would never buy this. It appears that “Turnt” is only available in the mini at $14, which is way too much to spend for specks of glitter.

i like this product, but i think it best be used in the fall/winter time when my skin tends to be drier
this is a very natural highlighter so its not going to ever be a blinding/in your face type product
there is also a lot of product 1 oz for 24 i believe so its reasonable and idk how likely you’ll finish this if you have a sizeabls makeup collection.
i have quite normal/combo skin and it lasts about 5 or so hours

I have this in “Turnt”, a rose gold. I purchased this because I was almost out of my old stick highlighter and this came in a handy dandy mini size, which is perfect for travel. It was $14 and I was curious to try something by Milk so I figured what the heck. To get to the point, I find this very unimpressive. It goes on as a shimmer wash and you can’t see the underlying rose gold color at all. Just a lot of micro shimmer, which I don’t care for. Also it really isn’t a very visible highlight. Previously I had a peach colored stick highlighter by Makeup Revolution, which was amazing and about a third the price of a full-sized Milk HL. I will try to use this up, but I really don’t like it and I regret the purchase. Very unremarkable product for the price. There are a number of stick highlighters by NYX and WnW which I will probably try next.

Definitely not for someone who’s used to a blinding, long lasting highlighter like me. This one is truly for the natural seeking. It’s such a subtle highlighter. Not for me but I’ll finish it.

I love these MILK Highlighters, especially Lit. The 2 formulas differ though, which is kind of a bummer.
Lit is a light gold champagne and very glossy. It is a very subtle glow, with no discernable particles. I love it for everyday for my dry skin.
Turnt is a pink rose gold, more of a metallic glow with very fine micro shimmer. It’s not glossy at all, more of a thin cream. I prefer it for a more amped up look.
These do smell like Play-Doh (the Bronzer does too)! If that’s a problem for you, I’d pass. I do find that it disappears within 5 or so minutes. It doesn’t bother me at all, so it’s not a problem for me.
I really love everything about these highlighters, especially for my dry skin. I do wish that the formula for Turnt was the same as Lit. I really love that glossy feel and look. I don’t find that it’s too sticky. It just makes my skin look so lovely, and I get so many complements. These apply, wear, and last well on my skin. I apply and blend either with a damp BB or my fingertip, patting it on. I think the price for the amount of product is awesome. It’s a pretty hefty chunk of cream highlighter lol. The packaging is fine, sturdy. It hasn’t gotten dirty or anything yet.
I’ve been very impressed with the MILK Makeup Highlighter and Bronzer both and do recommend giving them a try.

This highlighter was ok, even less than ok considering it smells like straight up playdough. I have it in the mini champagne shade version and I’m glad I didn’t purchase the full size. It’s a VERY subtle highlighter no obvious shimmer. When I slightly blend it in it’s virtually undetectable and defeats the purpose of highlighting at all.
For reference, I’m 33 and prefer natural makeup looks to the point of almost never wearing foundation. I pretty much only do natural makeup looks using very few products, but truthfully, there’s nothing about this highlighter that really wowed me, period. Aside from the easy-to-use tube packaging, which is nice and the reason for 2 stars. This highlighter was lackluster, and completely faded after only a few hours. I prefer a more subtle “wet” highlight, but I still do require my highlighter to be visable or else what’s the point?
RMS Beauty does “wet look” highlighters fabulously without the shimmer and it shows up beautifully without looking overdone. I only wish they made their highlighters in a tube.
I’ll be going back to my tried and true RMS.

I love this highlighter! I’ve owned it in both mini and regular sizes — notably, the mini did have a play-doh kind of scent, but the full-size doesn’t (it has no discernible scent). Not sure what the reason for that would be, but I don’t think there was any other difference in performance. To note: I noticed a similar play-doh smell with the mini bronzer.
Anyway — the color of this is kind of a… champagne neutral? I admit that I’m not great at colors, but it doesn’t seem to lean overly warm or cool. It strikes me as very “dewy,” I think because of the creamy formula, and wears really comfortably both on top and under foundation or concealer. I tend to drag it along the cheekbones, under eyebrows, and occasionally even use it as an eyeshadow (though it sometimes creases). It lasts fairly long. Not longer than eight hours, probably, but enough that I don’t worry about it wearing off during the day.
The packaging is very straightforward, just a push-up stick. One thing to note is that it’s definitely big! Even knowing what the relative size/product amount was supposed to be, I was surprised at the size when I received it. In all honesty, I really like that, but I could see how it might be awkward or inconvenient to carry around if you’re traveling or like to tote products around for touch-up.
Generally, I am a very minimalistic & easy make-up kind of person — I like products that could be called multi-use, that apply well with fingers, and that don’t have a super steep learning curve to get right. If you’re like me, you’ll probably like this!

Got a mini of this in a Sephora highlighter bundle. The first thing I noticed was the slight whiff of Play-Doh. If you can deal with that, this gives a nice subtle shimmer even on my pale skin. Yes, it looks darker in the package. Simple glide-on application, but bear in mind I haven’t tried it over foundation yet and sort of dread doing that. I want to give this a 2.5, but I can’t on this site, so 3 it is.
