Indiscretion is a beautiful gold highlighter that looks amazing in the pan and on the skin. That is, if your skin allows it to be visible. I read many negative reviews about the color payoff of this product. That is not my case. Sadly, the product did not travel well and it shattered. I was still able to use it on my face and film a youtube video review (soon on my youtube channel). The illuminator provides a sheer golden glow which I find suitable for everyday use. The fan brush is suitable for the more subtle effect. The powder can be layered for a more obvious effect, which I did and enjoyed much more. A bit of setting spray on the brush will help the layering. The highlighter is finely milled and not chunky at all. Because it lasts all day, I consider it a high end product worth having in my collection ❤️

Love the swatch of this illuminator, however it is quite difficult to pick up the product using a brush. Due to its beautiful ripple effect the surface is uneven so swiping your brush over is tricky if you’re use to a light hand. I needed to give it three good swipes with a shorter setting brush (the fan one hardly picks up the powder). I like that it has a mirror – the Mac ones don’t and that gets annoying for me. Overall I would not repurchase, I feel Mac soft and gentle is more pigmented and easier to apply. For reference soft and gentle is more on the peachy silver side for my tan skin while indiscretion is on the pinky copper side. I’ve searched them next to each other and indiscretion comes up more copper.

Wasn’t planning on purchasing anything, but once I swatched this, I did not even look at the price, as I just had to have it for my makeup collection. I’m surprised I spent this much on something like a highlighter, but it was worth it. It’s amazing. Looks very natural on my skin, making it glowy and amazing. For reference my foundation shades are: Mocha-Too Faced; Tobacco- Becca; 173- Makeup Forever Ultra HD.

This illuminator is absolutely beautiful! I love the buttery feeling as it goes on to my skin! It has flicks of gold and and a hint of a rose gold undertone. I saw a makeup artist post this illuminator on Instagram and I had to try it! It works perfectly over my Chanel Soleil Tan De Chanel. I use it as a highlighter, which gives my face a sultry illuminating glow to the high points of my face. This is my staple highlighting product for everyday use. The longevity through out the day is amazing as well! When I look in the mirror after my day I can still see the illuminator pulling through. As for the packaging, it is a little bulky to fit into my purse but I like that there is a built in mirror and the product is laid out so beautifully like a silk sheet. I would definitely repurchase this product if it wasn’t limited edition.

This is supposed to be very similar to Spellbound and it is. This one is slightly rosier in tone, I believe. First off the packaging and just looking at the product is absolutely gorgeous. It looks like a satin sheet. Upon swatching, it’s a beautiful champagne rose gold. Interestingly, it’s extremely pigmented when swatched, but seems less so when trying to pick up the product with a brush. Still a gorgeous product. May take a little tweaking with how to use, perhaps using your fingers would be most effective. Will update.
