These seemed to be very limited in release and I only happened to stumble upon one in a clearance bin at London Drugs. It seemed to fly right under the radar of most social media. Not much info out there on these at all. IF you like blingy shiny metallic highlighters, you need this. Of all my highlighters, I find this one the brightest of them all. I barely have to apply any for it to really show up. You only need the smallest amount! Although the name is “Rose Quartz”, it’s really not that rosy. Maybe a hint of rose in a neutral gold base but my oh my, it’s still one gorgeous highlighter! When I want to be seen from Mars, this is what I’ll be using. This was originally $18.99 Cdn, marked down to $11.99. I would have been hard pressed to buy it full price, but it does feel very similar to the Lancome Dual Finish highlighters ($52 Cdn!) so in that respect, I guess it could be said that the L’Oreal is a bargain. It’s a creamy, almost wet feeling powder with a lot of colour payoff. It doesn’t feel dry or powdery like some other d/s highlighters and when you buff it into the skin, it seems to brighten the shine instead of blending it away if that makes sense. I’m pretty impressed with this one – enough to track down a back up. especially since they’re were being cleared out, which is a shame. I wish L’Oreal would make this permanent like Maybelline did with their Master Chrome highlighters. It’s kind of sad how quietly this came and went already!
