I was super excited to try this highlighting powder! I had found it in the clearance section of Target, thinking that it was a steal. It looks amazing when you first put it on the high points of the face, looking illuminating without going overboard. Skip forward to 4 hours later, it looks like you took straight up glitter and put it on your face. It never looked like that when I first applied it, and somehow it faded and left that behind. I’m not a fan of glittery highlighters, and this one didn’t make my pores look nice at all. Save your money and buy a Wet n Wild highlighter instead!

Reviewing Born to Glow powder single shade in Chosen One. I’m pretty new to the highlight game, and wanted to start off with something inexpensive. While there are a lot of highlighters at the low end and high end, most tend to lean really really cool toned with lots of frosty cool whites, lilacs, and cool pinks. I have a neutral leaning warm complexion, and super cool shades don’t look good on me and come off as frosty. Chosen One is a nice golden beige so it seemed like the best choice. I knew as soon as I took a brush to this it wasn’t going to be great. formula is too dry, and chalky, making it difficult for the brush to pick up, and even less deposits on the face. takes about three layers to achieve a subtle highlight. Wear is pretty bad, 4-6 maybe. Wouldn’t buy again, nice shade but poor pigmentation and wear.
