A true game changer!
This spray is originally marketed to cover up and conceal grays and roots,I can’t comment on that because I use it for a different purpose but I’m going to test it on my mom’s gray roots and will edit to report the result
I use this spray to cover up the empty/bald places of my hairs.Unfortunately I’ve suffering from feminine Alopecia since I was a teenager.my hair is so thin and sparse on the front part that when I want to pull up my bangs for example to have a pony tail,the skin of my scalp shows through my hairs 🙁 or when I want to part my hair,there’s a wide row of baldness.the problem is just in the front part and crown and I have pretty good hair on back of my head
My hairs is straight and shoulder length.it’s naturally black but I have colored it to a very fair pearl blonde/platinum because I discovered when my hair is dark,my scalp’s skin seems to show up more.I read about this L’oreal spray in a local forum and decided to try it with low expectations.a few years ago I had bought a powder to cover sparse parts of my hair and it was aweful so I thought this one would be similar.it comes in 9 shades,only five were available here and I chose the lightest one among them which was “Dark Blonde” ,it’s a medium-dark blonde (like number 7 in loreal hair dyes) with a cool undertone.it’s way darker than my almost silver hair but still looks very good because it looks as if a bit of my roots have grown up
It has a,pinpoint difuser that helps to spray precisely on the spots we want.it stays on it’s bottle:shake it and spray it from 15 centimeters away.I do so but I spray it directly on my scalp and the magic happens! I literally wanted to cry with happiness the first time I saw the result.it’s color seems to somehow blend with my own hair,my skin doesn’t show through my hair anymore and my hairs look full but not unnatural even a bit.
Maybe there’s similar or even better products out there,I don’t know but for me it’s pure perfection specially considering it’s price(3.5 USD).it doesn’t make hairs oily,or sticky or stiff,doesn’t look muddy after a while,it doesn’t make scarf or pillow dirty,doesn’t transfer,doesn’t fade or run down with sweating or touching (I haven’t tested if the claim of being waterproof is true or not) it lasts until I shower and shampoo my hairs
I also love it’s packaging.it’s tiny,made of plastic and is travel friendly and has a great tiny nozzle
It claims to be enough for 25 times use but I’m not sure specially because I use it in a wide area
I will definitely repurchase.actually right now I’m thinking of buying backups
