An honest review from a hair extensions fanatic.
I’ve had my fair share of bonds/clip ins/weaves
And my credit card knows the damage its cost me, I was spending £900 every 5 months on great lengths etc.. I stopped after a few years, not just because it was costing me a fortune but because I wanted to give my hair a rest.
I’d heard good things about foxylocks so I decided to give them ago. So I purchased the 20 inch superior in dark espresso ombré.
First of all, I’ll be honest, I have what I would class as normal thickness hair, it’s not thin and it’s nothing impressive, just your run of the mill shoulder length hair… To even get the extensions to look moderately natural, I’ve had to use 2 packs of extensions, when I realised I didn’t have enough hair I thought, well I’ve already payed £142 so I may as well pay another £80 for the deluxe set to bulk it up.
The hair quality is good, but I recommend that you only style them twice a week if your wearing them everyday like me, and once a week make sure you spray a leave in condiotner or a hair oil on them, because at the end of the day this hair is no longer getting natural oils from the scalp so needs to be taken extra extra care of.
I also recommend every few weeks you trim the slightest bit off the ends just to freshen them up.
Overall I am happy with my extensions, there’s a lot of good and bad reviews out there about foxylocks and at the end of the day I think if you look after them well, you will get better results.
The only bad thing I have to say about the hair is that it does need brushing a lot, and I will only use my tangle teezer to do so, but let’s be honest, anyone that’s had natural long hair knows you can wake up one morning with dreads, I think just because it’s not our own natural hair we constantly complain about these things but natural long hair does the same

Foxylocks extensions are great for frequent and first time wearers of clip in extensions.
The packaging is pretty average, but I like how to hair wasn’t folded in the package and it came with a tester.
These extensions are soft and shiny, but this fades after a couple of washes. If you barely wash your extensions, these will last you about a year.
These are great quality for the price though. I paid about 80 dollars for a 125 gram set of 20 inch extensions. At the time, this was the only length they offered. But now I think you can choose the 18 inch set which is great because I trim them anyways!
