Bleaching your hair yourself can be a scary thing. But Manic Panic makes it about as painless as I ever thought possible. Their bleach kits does twice the work in half the time compared to other brands, and it didn’t damage my hair at all (which is the best part). I went from medium brown hair to almost platinum blonde in under 30 minutes!! I was expecting dryness and maybe even some minor breakage after, but NOPE! My hair was in perfect condition. Their kit is also totally affordable and comes with everything you’ll need. Very easy to use!

Not enough.hair is a little longer then my shoulders.had to use two boxes.
I used 40 v. On my dark brown hair that was dyed black.
Had to bleach it twice.then bought a box of blonde hair dye.

Doesn’t come with enough bleach and developer. It’s also pretty pricy. It’s a good bleach overall though, I had just enough to bleach my bangs. But if you’re doing your whole head you’re gonna need 2 or 3. Especially thick/long hair.

I was really afraid of bleaching at home, but I was determined to get lavender ends without having to pay a fortune. I already had a lot of the ends of my hair bleached professionally with purple and blue dye over it, and it had faded to this weird turquoise. After doing a colour removal treatment which removed some of the colour, I applied the bleach to the lower half of my hair, praying I would still actually have hair by the end. About and hour and 20 minutes later, the parts that had been previously bleached were platinum blonde and the bits that hadn’t been bleached before were yellow blonde. I actually preferred this, because once I applied the lavender it wasn’t just monochromatic. My hair isn’t completely destroyed either, which is nice. Overall, easy to use, relatively effective, and made my at home bleaching much less terrifying!

I have nothing bad to say about this product!
I used it to put some highlights in my (already box colored) hair that’s been getting too brassy and blah, and it did bleach my hair quickly (20 minutes) and without any damage I can see.
I only did a few highlights though, I am not sure if one box will be enough for someone who wants to highlight their whole head, especially if they have long hair.
It’s easy to mix, easy to apply. It smells, but not to the point where your eyes water.
Within 20 minutes, my hair got to the very pale yellow stage, so I washed it off and toned.
I am really happy with the end result, I usually avoid going to the salons because they’ve gotten ridiculously expensive, plus every time I had highlights done at the salon I got breakage because they left me process the bleach much longer than my hair needed.

This stuff is great at bleaching or highlighting seriously dark hair like mine. I kept trying other brands to no avail until I stumbled on this at Sally’s. Great stuff and comes with the developer, bleach, plastic, and gloves in one kit.
I only use this to highlight so this one kit will last me several uses. It really does lift hard to bleach hair and it didn’t tear my hair apart.

The reason I am not a huge fan is because it was very spotted at the end result. I felt that it did not cover well. I would consider doing this if I decided to just do streaks or highlights of color, but do no recommend bleach your full head with this.

My hair before bleaching: there were a few stubborn patches left of pink/purple dye over my failed ombre attempt, which I was too impatient to leave and wait to fade on their own. The light brown in the top sections of my hair was also dye, so my Flashlightening kit had a lot to work through. The instructions tell you to apply the bleach to dry and unwashed hair, and to leave it on from anywhere from 40 to 90 minutes checking a strand every 10 minutes after the first 40 to see if it has lightened enough. I ended up keeping the bleach on for the full 90 minutes as my hair is thick and was slow to lighten…
Overall I’m pleased with the pale yellow shade of hair I got in my results – it is a bit patchy in places but as I lost count years ago of the number of dyes I’ve used, I knew a uniform white-blonde shade was never going to happen for me. Having said that this has been the lightest result to come out of all of my past bleaching and dye remover experiments and with use of a toner would probably be a wearable blonde. As is the one-step process has given me a solid base to use my Crazy Color dyes on [judging on my roots I’d say that if you are someone who hasn’t dyed your hair before then this kit will take your hair straight to white blonde].
My hair is a few inches past my shoulders and is thick/coarse, and one kit was just enough for full-head application, so if your hair is longer the that I’d recommend buying at least two kits.

I just tried this product and it is great. My hair originally was black, but a few months ago went plat. I am aiming for the white shade. Waiting for my hair to dry to apply The Manic Panic Virgin Snow on my hair. I hope it doesn’t mess up my bleached hair. It got most of my roots especially at the front and sides. I may have missed a few strands at the back, but that’s ok. The hair covers it. Would definitely purchase this product again

Best bleach! I have naturally dark brown hair and this always does the trick! It leaves my hair softer than before I bleached it. The only toning I have to do is with my purple shampoo (by John Freida) and it works in one wash and any sort of brassiness is gone ( which is only slight.) Just make sure to not bleach your entire hair every time you do it (if you’re just doing root touch ups) because it can be damaging and your ends don’t need the extra bleach since they’re already blonde.. 🙂 Every other bleach and dye has left my hair brassy/orange and does not lift enough.
The kit also comes with a brush and bowl so that’s an added bonus! I have been doing this since Decemeber and my hair is in perfect condition.. So I will continue to do this.
