I recently ordered the VIP European extensions and am SO disappointed in the quality. I have ordered several sets of extensions from Clip Fancy and have always been blown away by the quality. This set, however, has let me down. I ordered the body wave (which I have ordered before!) and the waves were awful looking! It looked like hair that had been in a messy bun all day—crimpy and all! I had to spend an hour carefully straightening the hair. Beyond that, the hair is poor quality. It is frizzy, thin, and the ends are a mess. I compared a cheap set from Sally’s to this hair and I couldn’t tell much of a difference. The hair needs to be brushed constantly while out (I bring a brush in my purse) to prevent the dreaded cheap-extension matting! Definitely not worth the high cost.
The only good things about this set is the color, which matches my hair beautifully and the clips, which are well sewn.
Honestly, I am just so shocked. This hair looks worse than my Clip Fancy set that I ordered three years ago! That set has been straightened, curled, washed, colored—and still looks much better than this new hair.
Overall, I had high expectations for the VIP European hair, and was saddened to receive thin, damaged, and lackluster hair. I reached out to them and have not heard anything back.

Okay, so I got burned by bellami experience. I wrote a review on them so I will leave it at that. Anyways, I just received my second set of Clip Fancy extensions.
My first set is the VIP european 18″ in #2, they’re friggin amazing. Dense, thick, shiny. The construction of the wefts is absolutely top notch. If you put the bellami and CF next to each other the quality of craftsmanship is night and day. No flimsy lacey uneven sloppy stitching like the bellami extensions, solid even stitches, sturdy clips, quality all around.
The hair quality is just beautiful. The bellman’s start out pretty, wash them once, and they snarl and nat up and tangle and go haywire. The CF extensions? Nope. Just beautiful healthy hair. I feel a twinge of guilt at how gorgeous these are when I see negative reviews on CF because i feel like I must have lucked out and got a stellar set. But? I ordered a second pair….
My second set arrived today. They’re VIP Indian Remy 16″ in silky straight in #2. Again, gorgeous. I can barely tell the difference between the indian and an european set. The color is totally consistent between the sets (and luckily I am exactly a #2 match but that’s got nothing to do with the extensions). I haven’t washed the Indian Remy yet, but I will update if anything goes haywire. If they’re anything like the european set, I anticipate no issues.
So, in summary: compared to the other extensions i’ve bought (sally’s seamless remy, satin strands, and bellami) these are much much higher quality extensions. The construction quality is night and day, no hyperbole, TOTALLY better made that the others. The clips are stiffer and more secure then the others. The hair quality is well above the others. I’ve seen youtube comments on CF reviews saying how “they’re so expensive you can get the same thing cheaper” and to that I say “not in my experience.”
They are expensive. They take a long time to ship. But you know what? You get what you pay for. BTW I emailed CF in a panic because work sprung a cross country trip on me unexpectedly and the folks at CF overnight shipped my second set of extensions (to freaking ALASKA) so the extensions wouldn’t get returned when I couldn’t sign for the package. That right there shows me the customer service is done right.
I feel bad for the folks who had a bad experience, but in all honesty Clip Fancy has exceeded my expectations. I will be ordering again!

Terrible. I have worn extensions for over 10 years costing from $99-$1000. I heard about Clip Fancy but was weary of ordering since they are custom made and I was worried the color wouldn’t match and I couldn’t return them. I finally decided to give them a try. I ordered the 20″ standard set with custom coloring, which cost $550.
They took 3 weeks to arrive with expedited shipping. When I opened the extensions I was trilled – the color match was perfect!! I took them out of the box and began to brush them out before putting them in. I brushed each piece, put it down on the bed and moved to the next piece. When I picked up the brushed hair it was all tangled together! i have never ever had this happen to extensions before, even the cheap ones! I carefully combed out the knots and put in the extensions. I am not kidding, within 20 minutes I had 2 huge knots on my head! I took out the extensions and again tried to brush out the knots but they were so tangled, I gave up after 25 minutes. I am SO glad I wasn’t wearing these somewhere in public.
I emailed customer service and received a response telling me they can remake the same set. I replied back asking for a higher quality of hair and heard nothing back…I followed up again and I heard nothing,.
I am now out $500 with a pile of ratted hair.
Customer service is awful, hair quality was terrible. I do not reccomend.

I have purchased from clip fancy 3 times already!
I’ve done extensive research to find the best extensions and decided to go with clip fancy hair extensions years ago. I have absolutely no need to try other brands since I have no complaints and if I were to try a different brand I know I would regret it. I only made an account to write my review because I was a little confused by the comment below. Maybe they ordered from the wrong place but I’ve bought from their standard sets and euro vip sets and the quality and thickness of the hair was impeccable
I will always order from clip fancy because you get what you pay for and the higher the quality the longer they last
Usually I buy new sets because I switch up my hair color since I am a cosmetologist not because the hair is used up and done not to mention I wear extensions every single day
I hope you decide to choose clip fancy because you will not end up feeling like you wasted money on other brands that matte up and shed like crazy within the first 3 months
I rarely experienced any matting or shedding with both standard and vip sets. minimal tangling on one of the standards set that I processed over 5 times which shows the phenomenal quality of the hair. They look so natural ! No one ever knows I’m wearing extensions
Don’t contemplate any further about spending you’re money at clip fancy because every dollar you spend will reflect the amazing quality(: just trying to save you the time and money of the cost of trial and error.

I signed up with makeupalley just to post this review, and have never felt more inclined to do so. I placed my order with Clip Fancy for a VIP, 18 inch, 260 gram, Indian hair type set in jet black on December 9th, and received it on the first of January with rush order. Upon arrival they were luxuriously beautiful, thick, silky, and undoubtedly the best quality hair extensions I’ve ever owned, or so I thought. I’ve had these extensions for less than a month, worn them about five times, never heat styled, and last night was my first wash. I used a mild shampoo and conditioner, and woke to find my extensions were ratty, thinned, matted, and nowhere near in the condition they were when I first got them, which is to be expected with all extensions…OVER TIME, NOT IN LESS THAN A MONTH!! It looks as though I’ve had them for years. The ends are completely see through with a now coarse texture, and the hair on some of the wefts are jagged and uneven. And here I am, an EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED customer, out nearly $500, and thoroughly confused about all the positive reviews on here. Girls, please spend your money elsewhere.

I have not tried too many popular hair extension brands (other than a few local shops near me), but I am pleasently surprised at how well these look and feel on me. My set was virgin hair. I have only washed them once, but has had these for a few weeks but they are very natural to the touch and curl very nicely. I took the advice that came with my package in the brochure and used a mild shampoo (actually baby shampoo) and Reken Conditioner and they remained silky and very soft. I like that these are made in the USA (not many brands are I assume). There are so many options for color and having your wefts made a certain way by request so I chose only a few wefts and about 260 grams. They were VERY thick but not too heavy (which is what I was worried about). But that may be because I chose the medium sized clips (you may want yours with medium if you choose heavier hair weight like I did). The customer service was very nice. I was going out of town and asked to change the shipped address to where I would be going and they were happy to fullfill my request! The only issue some might have is teh wait time. They do take up to 4 weeks if you don’t choose the rush order option. But it worked fine for me and I did get them before the 4th week mark (but I live in the US so not sure how long it might take for others who live outside the usa). Price: pretty high imo, but as they say you do get what you pay for. I am planning on buying these again when I wear these babies out. 😉

I visit Make Up Alley to read product reviews very often, usually before but sometimes after purchasing a product. As an avid extensions user (clip- ins) for the last 4 years, I’ve done a lot of research and tried multiple brands. Usually, I would order my clip- ins from Ebay – which I would soon unfortunately discover at the expense of my skinny wallet, that I had wasted a lot of money on bad quality hair, mislabeled as Remy.
More to the point, after doing a lot of research on extensions, I came across a few overwhelmingly positive reviews on ClipFancy, and trusted my instinct. I’m SO glad I did. I also did a lot of research on tape- ins, and discovered what a much better option this was for me as I wear them every single day.
Fast forward to a month and a half after placing my order, I received them and LOVE THEM SO MUCH. Amazing quality, best hair I’ve ever had by far. I will be a loyal customer to Clip Fancy for as long as I wear extensions, and for as long as they remain this quality. You really get your money’s worth. They are thick, they blend in extremely well, and the results of my hair is really seamless. I ordered the dark brown/medium brown highlighted mix, it’s a perfect and natural match.

Not only *would* I buy this product again, I’m already planning my next order. I love love love how glamorous my extensions are- I ordered the 300 gram indian hair set with the body wave texture in 14-18 inches. I would say they came closer to the 18 inch length, and are beautifully soft and thick. I find they shed less when you’re combing them through than the other set I bought (from SKR Hair). The real advantage this company gives you is with all the choices, in both the origin of the hair (Chinese, Indian, Malaysian, etc.) but more importantly, in the texture. The bodywave texture is beautiful for someone like me that wants the extensions to blend naturally with curly hair. I intend on trying the Spanish wave set next! I also sent the owner Raylene a bunch of emails with tonnes of questions- trying to figure out the right choice for me- and she was so lovely and patient with all my questions. Truly excellent customer service.
Can’t recommend enough! You’re going to pay more than many other companies, but for someone like me that wants thicker wefts and doesn’t have straight hair, it was very worth it.

I have worn clip in extensions on and off for about 6 years or so. Usually, they are your garden variety human remy hair that comes from a beauty supply store. The quality was decent just not very thick, and they always matted/tangled easily. Getting frustrated, I turned to MUA of course, and the Clip Fancy reveiws lured me in:) so let me just say WOW. Selection/variety:
This is what sets CF apart from their competition.Basically, if you can dream it, they can make it. Not inexpensively, might I add. Not a bad thing since extensions are one thing you don’t want to cheapen. They offer both standard and CUSTOM sets ranging from 100-400 grams. They have Ponytails, Quad Wefts, Volumizer Sets you name it. There are lot of color options, and if you are unsure, they can color match you if you send them a pic. There’s 12 different lengths, 6 different hair types, and for me the icing on the cake was the 14 hair textures. I have fine in diameter but coarse in texture naturally curly type 2b/cish hair and I wanted to come close to my unique texture.(of course minus the poufiness and kinky waves). In the past, I had to heat style more often since the extensions I got were so far from my natural texture.( I blowdry my hair wavy , using a boar bristle brush for the kinky parts, and then defining with my curling wand). There are so many customizing options (ombre, picking diff colors to go back to back, weft widths, amount of clips, truly anything you can think of). The team will gladly assist you and help you pick the options that works best. Which leads me to the next part of my review.
Customer Service:
In the top 5 of the best I have had…EVER. for anything. I truly mean that. Before I dropped $275, I was emailing back and forth with Raelene about all the options. She really took the time to assess my hair and recommend what would work for me in my price range. Didn’t try to “sell” me on something more expensive. Paid close attention to what I was looking for. Was very prompt with response times for emails.
Lead Time:
I did a rush order and got my 16″ 200g Body Wave Remy Custom order in just about 3 weeks. Reasonable, since it was custom.
Quality of product:
They arrived in a cute box, along with care instructions and a coupon for my next order. They are soft, don’t shed, and don’t become tangled at the end of the day like sets I have had in the past. Very natural looking! Craftsmanship is superior, they are well-made and VERY THICK. I find I need less clips/wefts than usual because of the thickness, and that is a definate plus. The quality and service far exceeded my expectations. They are worth every penny IMO. Headkandy came in second for what extensions I was going to purchase, but when you look at price, quality of hair, grams, CHOICE OF TEXTURE,and the options you get with CF, it is a better value. HC would have been $160 for 150g, 14-16″, but didn’t have a wavy texture. So, I suppose if your hair is on the straighter side, and not very coarse HC would be a great alternative. Love, love love my Clip Fancy extensions and will never purchase extensions anywhere else.
