I really really really like this butter. It has a soft, almost spongey texture, and it smells like cake batter. It is very moisturizing, absorbs quickly and it does not weigh down my fine hair strands. After using this product I don’t need to re-moisturize for a few days. I like to use it on wet twist outs for great definition. I have to avoid it when i have blow dried my hair because it is so packed full of moisture that my hair starts to revert.

I love love Camille rose almond jai butter.
My hair is very very coarse 2A little longer shoulder length.
So my review maybe Not helpful to whom fine hair.
I use this butter for twist after my hair is 80% dry.
My hair bounce with nice curl when 100% dry.
Also my scalp don’t get react at all.
I love this butter cups I can use when damp or dry.
You have to be careful how much potion you use other words
Your hair will be sticky.

This took some time to get the results I wanted. There is a learning curve to using it. Too little left my hair undefined. Too much was heavy. I like it used on wet hair and applied in sections. It has a light smell of vanilla and has a creamy consistency. The ingredients are nice but unfortunately this is pricey at Target for $17. The jar should last you a long time though. It leaves my hair with moisture and softness. I am also happy that I can use this year round.

This butter provides lasting moisture, smoothness, and sheen. I was skeptical of yet another curl butter, but this surpassed my expectations. Smells faintly sweet like vanilla pudding. The texture is very thick but applies and spreads very well and doesn’t build up. This gave my twistouts supple hold and bounce with no frizz! I’m so pleased the results during this damp rainy spring weather. No glycerin! Leaves a velvety smooth feeling on my strands but not too product heavy. The jar is not cheap but the product is dense and a little goes a very long way. This is the first product that actually reduces my single strand knots!

Got this product last month since it’s now available in Target. The hold is ok for my thick/ coarse/coily hair but I get better results w/MJ Curly Pudding. I’ve used it a few times w/different LIs, moisturizers, sealed & not sealed. Have yet to get a result I was 100% pleased with. I usually stick to SM products but have been purchasing new brands lately. Except for Qhemet, SM still beats everything else I’ve tried of late.

New Review: The ingredients have now changed, so I will not be repurchasing. My new jar lists the ingredients as follows: almond milk, water, aloe, btms, almond oil, jojoba oil, olive oil, pumpkin seed oil, macadamia oil, hemp, honey, green tea, marshmellow root, amla, optiphen, fragrance. The nettle, brazil nut oil, algae, baobab oil, manketti oil and L-cystine are gone and are replaced with marshmellow root, green tea, and hemp. Why did they have to change this stuff. I have changed my review to a two star.*******Old review: This is my first product purchase from this new line of products and I absolutely love it. This butter smells so nice- like sugar cookies. I use it to 1) twist my hair 2) as a daily moisturizer/sealer and it does an amazing job. The hold is light, but not too light. I don’t have any of my twists coming undone. On wash day, I use CJ’s smoothing lotion as a leave-in then use this product to twist my hair with. I don’t get any flaking with the product. It’s also a very light, fluffy butter that just melts into my hair. The ingredients are:
