Scalp Love was an impulse purchase of mine when I saw a single bottle of it on the shelf in the store. The main thing to know is that this product is NOT an oil, but various botanicals in a base of witch hazel so it’s a liquid. (Because any other serum I’ve ever purchased has been an oil, and I have seen rosemary used in other hair/scalp oils, I assumed this would be an oil too.) The packaging says it helps “detox and loosen buildup” and also says you can leave it on overnight, so I bought it expecting a luxurious oil that I could apply as a sort of treatment for winter dryness, sleep in it, and wash it out in the morning. You apply it with a dropper, and because I have a lot of hair my first application used nearly 1/3 of the contents. It smells wonderful and herbal (rosemary, sage, thyme, mint) and feels very fresh because of the mint. Perhaps it is meant to treat dandruff (which I don’t have) but the packaging didn’t say anything about that. It was okay, but not really what I was looking for/expecting so I won’t repurchase.
NOTE: The review entry form wouldn’t let me list Pacifica as in the Brand field (??) which is why I had to enter this review as an unlisted brand.
