I love Jane Carter products, since they cater to curly hair and have natural ingredients. This has a pleasant floral note to it and preps hair wonderfully for styling. I even use it alone when I am feeling lazy and this keeps my ringlets controlled without feeling like I have any product in my hair. I was also surprised to see this at my local Target since I usually buy mine from Wholefoods. Does what it says it’s going to do and is less than ten bucks.

For some reason, I hesitated a long time about purchasing Jane Carter Solution products. First, I’m not crazy about the packaging. Second, I thought they might work best for African-American hair or other highly textured hair types (rather than my Irish-Italian curly-wavy hair). I finally bought the Revitalizing Leave-In Conditioner, and I love it so much that I’m planning on trying other products from the line. After towel-drying my hair, I apply three or four sprays of this liquid to my hair; then I work in a small amount of my usual styling cream or gel. This conditioner really does seem to “prime” my hair by keeping it moisturized. My curls feel softer and smoother when I’m done drying (with a diffuser), without losing any formation or volume. This product brings me one step closer to a “good hair day” every time I use it. Plus, it smells just right (a very light lemon-vanilla scent that fades after application) and you can’t beat the price (under $10 for a big spray bottle).
