This review is for Phytocitrus Restructuring Mask. I have lots of fine, straight hair that is healthy. I don’t color treat it, but I received a sample of this mask for color-treated hair and decided to try it out. I discovered that it’s important to use a very small amount (a little dollop about the size of a pea or so works best for my shoulder-length hair). Using a small amount provides some moisture (though I wouldn’t call this a super moisturizing mask and those with very dry hair will probably find it insufficient) but doesn’t weigh down my hair. Using more, as I discovered the first day I tested this, weighs down my hair but doesn’t really moisturize it more. Overall, I think there are better hair masks available for less money.

This is for the Phytocitrus Restructuring Mask. I was lucky enough to find this at Bath and Body Works for 75% off. I bought three of them at 8 dollars a piece. I am sooooo glad I did. I am seriously in love with this stuff. I put it on my towel dried hair for about 20 minutes, and my hair felt amazing afterwards. I have very thin, dry, died blonde hair. It made my hair feel like it hasn’t felt since before I started dying it.

I actually love this masque. Well, it isn’t a masque really, just a conditioner. As I have mentioned in my other reviews I have colored my hair a lot throughout my life, and have had exceptionally healthy hair, and extremely damaged hair that was actually breaking off. When I first bought this product I had long hair. The last five inches of it had been bleached, and then it was colored over that. When I used this product at that time, I did not like it. My hair actually seemed dry. Then, I had the five inches of previously bleached hair cut off: so, I had hair color on my hair, it was dry, but not totally damaged. I used this product again after that, and I loved it. It conditions my hair, and makes it shiny without weighing it down. I do not recommend this product for severely damaged hair (hair that has been lightened more than two shades). I do however recommend it for colored hair. It conditions it just enough to wear it is healthy, but not heavy, and plastered down against your scalp. I really like it, and have been using it for about six months now. I intend to keep using it, provided that I don’t decide to drastically change my hair color again.
