I’ve used a fair number of these deep conditioning treatments in my time, but I’m happy to go on record as saying this is by far one of my favourites. And it only costs £1.00!! Yes, that’s right a pound.
Much like the others I’ve tried (the Herbal Essences ones spring to mind), this is a thick, rich conditioner which you use as a once-a-week treatment. I usually start by washing my hair with a clarifying shampoo before applying a good half-handful through my hair, paying particular attention the ends. I then try to leave it on for at least 2 minutes, before washing it out in the shower with warm (not hot) water. It never fails to leave my hair feeling really soft and looking very shiny.
The scent of this is lovely – it’s a very subtle, almost fruity scent, a little like apples. The container’s really easy to use too – it’s a screw-top version exactly like the Herbal Essences ones, only not quite so big.
I’ve only ever found this in the UK in Savers stores, although I’m certain you must be able to find it elsewhere. It’s a staple part of my haircare routine now and every time I’m in town I make a point of picking a tub up, so I’ve always got a couple of back-up ones in the storage cupboard.
