I received a sample of this with a purchase and have since purchased the full size. I tried it on dry hair as a refresher, and realized I really like it. The smell is light and doesn’t linger it added moisture and just enough texture to have curls/waves reform or to put up in a bun or braid with no flyaway hairs. I’m not sure how it would perform on wet hair since I haven’t tried – that sort of seems like a waste. I should mention I do use silicone hair products, so this may perform differently for people on the CG method. I also do NOT brush my hair dry, ever, as this causes frizz and ruins the curl/wave pattern. I spread the spray by spraying all around and then making a low ponytail with my hands and running my hand over the length of my hair a few times, never running my fingers or a brush through my hair. Assuming I get several months use out of this (which at my current rate of use should be no issue), I’ll happily pay full price to have it. It is easy to use, the scent is fine and doesn’t linger, and it actually performs well for me.

I don’t have really curly hair so my review is based on my thin/fine wavy hair texture. For me this did nothing. Seemed to add frizz and made me hair look wet. It might be great for really curly hair but for me it wasn’t anything great.

I really like this leave in, I use it as a detangler for after the shower, it did a nice job detangling my bleached, super dry hair, I also feel like it added a nice amount of moisture and a sexy lived in look/volume, it doesn’t do much for my frizz and the scent is very mild, I bought this for 99 cents but wouldn’t buy it for the $20 retail price, tried it on second dair hair and didn’t notice a diference.

I LOVE this leave-in. I have used it for over a decade. It’s my favorite for refreshing my curls any time, all day long. I carry it with me everywhere. It smells wonderful, and it never causes any build up. It nips frizz in the bud, and it helps stop breakage. This leaves my very coarse hair so wonderfully soft I can’t believe it’s really my hair.

This stuff is AMAZING and really works for me.
Not only is the fragrance beautiful, it’s really saved me from having to re-do my hair when I’m feeling lazy. It really does bring dry, frizzy curls back to life- you just have to learn the trick for how to use it.
I have lots of fine, yet very curly hair that I wear in a top knot (to work) almost every day. If I’m going out at night and don’t feel like restyling/ blow drying, here’s what I do: I take my hair down, gently separate curls with my fingers then mist this stuff all over. Here’s the REAL trick: don’t touch it! Leave your curls alone and let this spritz work its magic. In a few minutes my curls are shiny, soft and at least 60% of frizz has been eliminated. I love it.
The only cons I have to mention are 1) this stuff is EXPENSIVE and 2) it does get heavy and gunky if you spray too much. Just remember: a little goes a long way 😉

My hair is medium length, wavy, and uncolored. I shampoo my hair once a week.
This “curl energizing and refreshing spray” is supposed to nourish and strengthen hair from within, encouraging optimal curl formation. Its purpose is to revive the curl on second and third day hair.
It does revive the curl. However, when I used it on the third day my hair became gummy.
I found that just using Evian Facial Spray to revive my wave is sufficient, so I no longer use it.

This really doesn’t do anything nice for me, but I still hold on to it in hopes that I magically find a way to love this. I don’t find this hydrating or refreshing at all. As a refreshing spray on next day hair over product, it makes my hair sticky and blah. As a leave in treatment under product, my hair felt dry and coated.
It’s got a nice organic smell to it, though.

I am surprised to read so many reviews from people who don’t like this product. I love it! It has worked wonderfully in my hair. My hair is naturally curly and I use it in the morning and it turns my curls into gentle ringlets (My hair is a little longer than shoulder length). It makes my hair feel soft and I love how it smells. I will definitely keep buying this product!

this does not do much of anything for my hair. it doesn’t seem to moisturize when used as a leave-in. when i use as a curl refresher, i can’t distinguish between this and plain tap water. i’ve noticed it seems to make my hair “fluffy” as opposed to adding definition. on the plus side, it’s not sticky, and the smell is nice (herbal and light). i will use the rest of the bottle since it’s too late to return, but will not be repurchasing.

I hate her prices, but can’t live without Ouidad products. My fine wavy hair is never better than when I use them. You can get a travel size set to try them cheaper.
I use this set – Climate Control gel, Curl Quencher shampoo and conditioner, occasionally Botanical Boost Leave-in for curl support, Styling Mist hair spray and occasional Deep Treatment for shine. I also do ACV rinses twice a week and occasionally throw in Coconut Oil or Coconut Milk pre-shampoo treatments. When I henna my hair in tandem with these, the health, thickness and shine of my hair is even better.
Hope this helps.
