Lightweight mask with a lovely nutty smell and pleasant texture. It feels a bit oily on my hair but rinses well. Unfortunately it didn’t do anything for my overprocessed hair. I think it’s an OK product for healthy hair that likes a bit of pampering from time to time, but that’s all.

I tried this quite a while ago, maybe it’s been 2-3 years. I used to love YR orange hair mask (can’t remember the name, it was from phyto series that was generally good) and was highly disappointed with this one. It was not doing anything terrible but neither anything beneficial… I finished the package but never repurchased and don’t intend to.

I usually use 100% plant based oils such as coconut for my hair (and body) but this product was a freebie so I tried it. Well I already ordered two more because I don’t want to be without it. My hair is shoulder-long, fine and soft, and gets dried out very easily. Many conditioners and hair masks weigh it down and what works best is pre-wash conditioning with coconut oil. But I always wished for something that would provide more slip and give more moisture than average conditioner, but still doesn’t weigh down my hair. Sounds like an impossible task, right? Well this Nutri Repair Mask by Yves Rocher somehow does all that! Sometimes I even use it as a replacement for my usual conditioner.
The cream is quite thick and it takes about size of a walnut or less for my lengths (avoiding the roots), but as soon as it comes in contact with wet hair, it melts in so nicely. No heaviness, no oiliness, only silkiness! I keep it on for as long as I can, usually 10 min (although only 2 min is recommended in the instructions) then rinse but don’t wash it out completely because it’s so light and my hair seems to like it. The smell is amazing, kinda nutty. And the result is silky, soft, shiny hair that feels moisturised, but not weighed down.
This mask contains more than 98% natural ingredients and is free from silicones and parabens. Shea butter and jojoba oil are among main ingredients. Overall, I think this is a good quality product, priced sensibly and I recommend it especially for those who have dry, thin, fine hair that weighs down easily.
