I spritz this through damp hair after a shower. This makes my hair soft, and leaves it conditioned. I actually prefer this to It’s a 10, my hair responds to this better. My ends look good, and I notice frizz is reduced a bit, a big plus.

My boss bought this for her hair and hated it, so she gave a full bottle to me and it has become my go to leave in treatment and my thermal protectant. I find this works really well on my thick, but extremely damaged and bleached hair. I’m not sure why it didn’t work on her hair, but she found that it weighed her hair down, but with my hair it feels weightless.. I am thinking she may have used too much at once I use 3-4 light sprays over my entire head and then I comb it through and I blow dry as normal. It is a great product!

I’m always looking for the next best thing in hair products. Even if I have something good going on, I can’t resist trying new products out. I purchased this because I was looking for products like It’s a 10 Miracle Leave In. I like something that does multiple things in one step. I would say this is very comparable to It’s a 10. I got pretty much the same results with both products. They both come in a spray bottle with a milky runny formula.
RUSK 12-in-1 PROS:
1. I do like the scent of the Rusk one better though. It isn’t sweet at all and the scent goes away fast so it won’t compete perfumes, body sprays etc.
2. I did notice while blow drying my hair that it dried faster with this spray.
3. This really, I mean REALLY took down the frizz like no other.
4. It provides a nice subtle gloss when applied to dry hair.
RUSK 12-in-1 CONS: None.
Eh, not sure if this product does all 12 things that it claims. According to the Rusk site: RUSK® W8less™ Multi 12 in 1 Miracle Leave-In Treatment is a versatile product that addresses all your hair needs: adds shine, smoothes and detangles, controls frizz, seals and protects haircolor, prevents split ends, stops hair from breakage, is lightweight and does not weigh hair down. Also works as an ideal cutting lotion.
but still a great product. Also, I can be acne prone with hair care ingredients. Nothing in this product causes acne for me.

I bought this one a whim a few days at Ulta. It was their last bottle so I decided to give it a try. It seems to me it’s like a leave in conditioner. It’s not a styling product by any means. I made the mistake of spraying this on my hair and then blowdrying. It made my hair frizzy and hard to manage.
Now, after I shower I spray this on my hair. I then follow by a smoothing cream before blow drying.
All in all this product is good. I don’t know if it does everything it claims to do, but it does make my hair soft when wet and adds an extra layer of conditioner for my hair.

Anything that says 10 in 1 or 12 in 1, I am very skeptical of because I don’t believe any product has the capability of fulfilling all of those expectations. Instead, they usually do some of those things half-heartedly. This product proved me correct. I have semi-straight Asian hair with some frizz, but my hair just gets kind of poofy because I have a lot of it. First of all, the packaging is all wrong. Each squirt lets out so much product it equates to a pea-sized dollap. It’s a very thick product so can you imagine spraying this in your hair all over?! My hair was so oily and heavy the first time I tried it. This should actually be in a pump bottle. The next time I used it, I sprayed some in my hand and distributed it through my hair and let it air dry. It did absolutely nothing. My hair looked dry, unconditioned, and poofy. I’m really disappointed.

This is a leave-in treatment. I have type 3B curls and have used countless brands of hair products. Just when I thought I’d found all the HG products I’d ever need, I decided to try yet one more. It was $8.99 for 6 oz. at our military exchange store so I thought it was worth the risk of failure. Since I wash my hair only two or three times a week and I’m not due for a wash, I decided to spray this onto dry hands and run it over the outside layer of my hair. WOWWWWW!!!! Of all the things I’ve ever tried, none of them have instantly improved the look and feel of my hair without looking and feeling like I had something on it. This imparts the look and feel of healthy hair. I don’t color my hair but I do use a blow dryer and hot tools so my hair tends to be on the parched side and can look dull. This really is a miracle treatment because it erased the dull, dry look my hair had yesterday. It still looks great today.
The instructions say to use on clean towel-dried hair, and when I do, I will update. The consistency of this leave-in treatment is luxurious. Thin enough to spray and thick enough not to be drippy. It’s like silky milk. The scent is fresh but not overpowering and won’t compete with your fragrance.
From the Rusk description:
“W8less Leave In Treatment is a versatile product that addresses all your hair needs: adds shine, smoothes and detangles, control frizz, seals and protects haircolor, prevents split ends, stops hair from breakage, thermal protectant, is lightweight and does not weigh hair down. Ideal cutting lotion.
INGREDIENTS AND FUNCTIONS:
*Glycerin is a moisturizing agent that imparts incredible shine to the hair.
*Panthenol is a hair moisturizer that keeps hair from having a dry, frizzy look.
*Hydrolyzed Keratin is a naturally derived ingredient that binds to the hair to give it full body and a thicker appearance.
*Quaternium-80 is a conditioner that provides hair with static control and shine.
*Cyclopentasiloxane is a silicone fluid that makes the hair easier to brush without breakage.
*Butylene Glycol is a moisturizer and a hair conditioning agent that helps increase hair shine.
*Cetearyl Alcohol/Behentrimonium Chloride is a substantive long chain quarternary conditioner known for its mildness. It also helps provide a soft, flexible feel to the hair.”
Update: Tried this on wet hair and found that it doesn’t stand on it’s own for my hair. I tried mixing it with another hair product and it helped impart shine to my air dried curls. I prefer this on dried hair and by spraying it on my hands and then working it over the outer layers.
