This is by far my most repurchased beauty product. It gets out tangles the size of softballs and the whole family uses it. Maybe if your hair is mega thick and coarse You will need the regular, but I think the lights would work on it every other hair type. Best part is it does not make it greasy. I love the smell. Really I would change nothing about it. It is expensive but If you use the 20% off coupon that Ulta gives twice a year for prestige and buy the large bottle You should be set for most of the year

I like this much better than the regular version. The regular did weigh my hair down and make it feel and look greasy. It makes my hair softer and smoother after blow drying. It also helps with static.
I alternate using this with the bumble and bumble invisible oil primer just because I like them both. I would repurchase.

I’m not sure why other women would prefer the original version over this one. It’s very light, smells good, doesn’t cause build up, doesn’t dry frizzy, detangles my hair and the product actually seems to work for days at a time. Meaning I don’t have to shampoo or condition my hair in the shower because it’s already soft and clean from this leave In. I prefer this version over the original solely on smell difference and consistency. I have thin brittle frizzy hair for context. And I definitely would recommend to a friend. I only took one lippy off price because it is rather expensive. But very worth it in my opinion.

I wasn’t a fan of the original It’s a 10 leave in but I love this one. It’s extremely moisturizing and I find even with my bleached damaged hair I dont need to use this every time I wash. I can alternate with a lighter leave in (I like matrix daily) and my hair stays quite healthy. Cons are; my hair does get oily more quickly with this, I find the product a bit too thick and the bottle rather small so I go through a lot very quickly (another good reason to alternate with another conditioner). But if you have damaged hair and need a great leave in this is one to try! Would repurchase.

Between this and the original I prefer the original. I was underwhelmed by the lite version . My hair was left dry and frizzy from this yet the original formula is my go to product. If you find the original weighs you down to much give this a shot.
2c, fine, color treated, dry scalp that tends to go oily quickly.

I am on my second bottle of this Light version of It’s a 10. I have used the original version and liked it but I have to say I prefer this light version because it smells better. I have fine to medium blonde highlighted hair that is oily at the roots and dry on the ends and tangles very easily. After washing my hair it’s a rat’s nest and I put about 5-6 squirts of this product in my palm, rub them together and then apply directly to the tangles, avoiding the scalp. I then use my wet brush, and gently work at the tangles and within minutes they are gone! This stuff leaves no oily residue and leaves my hair feeling soft. It doesn’t weigh hair down either. This is quickly becoming my HG hair product for detangling. Can’t live without it. Definitely will be purchasing again.

I have used the original before but actually prefer this performance-wise. It smells really good to my nose and softens my hair. My hair dries less frizzy and I am actually able to detangle my hair well after using this because of the slip it provides. I have medium – textured hair for reference.

This didn’t work for me at all and I finally tossed the bottle. My hair is dry (colored, occasionally highlighted) from the middle to ends with normal/oily roots and scalp and I think my hair was maybe too porous for this? Don’t know but even with just a little on my shoulder length hair it felt extremely coated and hard to wash out the next day. Pleasant fragrance, though – I enjoyed that. I won’t leave you again (well, anytime this week lol!) my Kiehl’s Heat Protective Silk Straightening Cream.

My mom was bragging about this bottle for so long that she eventually went out and got me one because I “had to try it” well….I fell in love with it. It makes my longish fine hair so soft and even feels thicker. I use about 5-6 pumps right after I dry my hair off after the shower and then blow dry. I will 100% be buying another bottle.

For my hair it’s actually more like 4 stars, but that’s my fault because I bought this around 2 years ago when I was super scared of conditioning my hair and making it greasy so I bought the “lite” version even though I have medium coarse, frizzy, dry hair. At first I just thought this product made my hair a bit softer but the problem was I used only 2 squirts while I now use a total of 8 or 10 squirts. About 10 or more squirts makes my hair the best it has ever been, at least in the past couple of years.
It’s pricy and I might try another leave in because this is the first one I’ve ever bought. If I’m lazy I’ll just repurchase or buy the regular version.

Didn’t gave a 5 star review because it seems to dry my hair out eventually (gives a straw like texture), and I think is because of the alcohol it contains in it. Apart from that, leaves my hair shiny, detangled and frizz free.

This was OK for a while, but then I found Davines OI Leave-In Milk and it has made this stuff seem cheap and sub-par. So I am changing my review, because Davines Oi Milk has changed my world!
