As always, Davines delivers in terms of quality. Bit pricey considering there isn’t a lot of product in the bottle but then again, you don’t need a lot (a small squirt is more than adequate).
Have been trying to grow out my hair and bought this to deal with the split ends that my hair stylist took me to task about! I have only been using it for about a month but so far, am happy with the product. It does the job, leaves the ends of my hair glossy and healthy looking (an improvement on their formerly frizzy, noticeably dry state) and, as a bonus, smells pretty nice!
The packaging is pretty standard for Davines – fairly basic, flimsy lids (the cap doesn’t fully cover the squirt bit of the pump so forget about taking this with you when you’re travelling). I totally get that Davines makes a major effort to source eco friendly packaging. It’s just that some of it can be pretty flimsy and far too easy to spill (which is a little painful at this price point). Other than that, no complaints – aesthetically speaking, the packaging is actually pretty cute. All the pastel shades of creamy goo in their little plastic tubs appeals to to the kid in me – sort of like gazing at the array of flavours behind the glass at an ice cream shop.
