My absolute favourite hair mask!! I have been repurchasing this mask for the past 5 or 6 years! By far the best hair mask out there ! When I am using it I get compliments such as “ your hair looks like it out of a Pantene commercial today “ lol … I will forever repurchase this …. the only other restorative hair product I like this much is olaplex which my hair stylist sold me …And recently, I started to leave this hair mask in the same way you would use olaplex ( wet hair , apply the mask , and leave it it for a lengthened period of time , which for me was 30 min. ) and it gives the exact same results . Also for reference , I have fine , naturally almost black , medium/long length hair that I have been bleaching for 5 years straight and everyone tells me my hair looks so healthy . Only con is that I wish it was in a squeeze tube instead .

-All this product did was give my hair some shine I only used it about 4 times though, I feel like if a product is that expensive it should work after the second or third use. Idk if I should have kept trying to use it or not but I felt like two weeks was enough.
-My hair is dry, color treated, damage to the ends from bleaching, thick and curly if thats helpful to anyone.
-The mask itself is thick in consistancy and smells pretty great and actually stays in your hair. The smell may be too strong for some though so smell before you buy. Lol
-I personally wouldn’t buy this again but just because it didn’t work for me doesn’t mean it won’t work for you. Try the sample size at ulta if you would really like to try it 🙂

When I bought this product, I was looking for something to rescue my hair; this product did not do that at all. It did smell nice and it was stronger than just a plain conditioner, but it didn’t repair my hair in anyway, just detangled it a bit. If you really love the smell and have thinner hair, this is for you!

This is the best but most expensive deep repair masque I’ve ever bought. I got mine in Canada at London drugs in a tube (which is 1/2 the size of the tub) for $12.99 (But I’ve seen it retail for $30 for the tub). Anyways, I shampooed, then applied the deep repair masque to my hair and tied it in a knot. I then left it for a good 10 minutes trying not to get it wet. After rinsing the product off I was left with super soft and shiny hair! I couldn’t believe it! The results lasted me about 2-3 days after. I use this macadamia deep repair masque about 2 times per week, but I wonder if it’s ok to use it every time I wash my hair?
Anyways, great product to try… The price is just really high. But I would definitely buy it again though.

My favorite mask right now. Honestly I can`t remember if I ever had a better deep conditioning mask! Cute packaging, smells nice, and it does instantly help your hair, makes it moisturized and very healthy looking. I have super fine hair but a lot of it, lol, and this never weighs it down, but makes it really healthy even though I know it is very over processed. I am glad they sell those smaller sample packages to try! My hair is down to my bra, and 1 package was enough to use it 2x. I think it is really a great product! :-))) Yes, it is expensive but worth it…

Overall, I enjoy using this product and I’ve had pretty good results. The only reason I would not repurchase this is because I feel it is more expensive than it should be and does not totally live up to all its claims. I don’t mind spending money on a product, but if I do, I want what I’m buying to do what it promises. This masque is great in the sense that it smooths and moisturizes hair, while improving split ends and dryness with a nice fragrance, too. I also like the fact that it conditioned well without weighing my hair down, which is a must for me since I have pretty fine hair. I noticed some added shine when using this masque as well.
Like I said before, I don’t think this masque lives up to its claims because it says that it repairs hair. My experience with it is that it makes my hair definitely more shiny, soft, and significantly less dry, but it does not repair hair over time the more you use it. This is still a good quality product, however. I don’t have anything negative to say about this product, but I would just consider this a deep conditioner instead of a masque.

I’ve bought this twice. The first time was a trial run in the smallest size that lasted me from January until July. It was heavenly and altogether a perfect product. I’m wondering if the second time I bought a spoiled product. I bought the 8oZ tub for $30. I consider this to be extremely expensive. I still use the same small amount of product but now it makes my hair greasy and disgusting. I would not re-purchase. I’m going to try a different masque instead.
The product itself is creamy with a thick consistency. It has a lovely, fruity smell that I’m often complimented on. It’s quite slick and easy to work into your hair. A tiny amount goes a long way. You can feel the difference in the texture of your hair almost immediately after applying.

So after hearing endless raves about this product on youtube I decided I should give it a try!
Price: The price of this masque is deffinatly more than an Aussie or Loreal product so I consider it more of a “spa item” or a luxury. I purchased it at my local drugstore for 21$ Canadian which is a lot cheaper then the original price. I think the price is expensive but deffinatly a more reasonable price then the $45Fekkai mask.
Packaging: I’m a total sucker for Macadamia natural oil packaging I think its adorable and love how it looks in my bathroom I also Like that it is a tub so you can get every last drop of product out the only downside is that it gets under my nails when I scoop it out.
Smell: Just like the packaging I love the signature scent of this line it smells so good! I don’t even know how to explain it it just smells so good
How it works: So basically all you do is put it in your hair after you shampoo. What I do is I use my Joico Daily Care shampoo and conditioner as they aren’t heavy in your hairand after I’m out of the shower I ring out my hair to remove and excess water and evenly distribute this product throughout my hair. I do avoid the scalp though just because I’m paranoid that it may make my hair look oily. Then I put my hair up into a bun carefully not to damage my wet hair and I sleep with this product in my hair. I was kind of worried that it may leave a residue or like oil marks on my pillow but it was completely safe to use on my pillows even the decorative ones which is great because I hate sleeping on a towel it makes my hair frizzy which totally defeats the purpose of the mask. Then in the morning I rinse all the product out in cold water and My hair feels great. If you find your hair has any residue just rinse your hair with baby shampoo or a really gentle shampoo. I also recommend air drying your hair putting heat on your hair kind of defeats the purpose of a healthy hair repair mask.
The results: I’ve seen in a lot of reviews for this product that it isn’t as moisturizing as they thought it would be. This mask deffinatly doesn’t have that buttery feeling when you rinse it out but it gives you that healthy hair feeling you get after going to the salon. Its good for every day hair. I think its a great hair mask for peoplewith normal to dry hair. If you have really dry rough hair I would recommend using the Joico Kpak restorative mask and this together. It’s great for the winter time. But overall this is a great treatment for anyone looking for a little tlc for their dry strands. Also if you’re finding that this is making your hair feel greasy I would leave this on for only a couple minutes or rinse it out with a gentle cleanser such as a baby shampoo. Lots of the fragrance free ones are best because they have less alchohol in them.
Would I recommend this product?: I would recommend this product to anyone with moderately dry hair. If you have really dry hair (like I mentioned above) using it with Kpak. I think this product will also be great for use in the summer as it doesn’t leave any residues or weigh your hair down.
*Hopefully this review was helpful! If you have any questions about this product or any products mentioned PLEASE feel free to message me 🙂 *

I very much like Macadamia Deep Repair Masque. I have wavy, on the thicker side hair. I usually use it once a week. Nice packaging, nice smell. I let my hair air dry after getting out of the shower and my waves look great. This product does not weigh my hair down, but everyone is different in terms of what works for them. Split ends are less noticeable for about two or three days afterwards (I only wash my hair once or twice a week). This product is on the pricey side (I think it was about $32 Canadian), but I will definitely purchase it again when it runs out.

This deep repair masque smells beautiful and feels beautiful. I still get excited about using it in the shower! It makes my hair softer, shinier and less dry. However, I’ve been using this for months and months and I still get tons of split ends from styling, so to me ‘repair’ is a bit misleading. It’s no miracle treatment, just a nice way to indulge yourself.
