This is only slightly better than the Ouidad scalp scrub I tried 2 years ago. The Ouidad had these hard microbeads whereas the Kristin Ess uses a softer material.
Overall though, the concept of scalp scrubs in general is a bad idea. This is the last one I’m ever giving a chance too. Yes, the scalp is skin. But should you be manually/physically exfoliating it with a scrub? Absolutely not. Because your hair is in the way. And while your scalp might like it, I’m highly suspicious of any hair out there being strong enough to benefit from this product. Even if you can’t see the damage, micro-damage accumulates.
Either way, this was a dud. My scalp felt no different afterwards. I’ll stick to chemical exfoliating.
