Great toner, I use this at home in between salon visits, I find it helps to freshen up my blonde hair when it starts to look a little dull. I use it in the shower after I have shampooed my hair, i towel dry and squeeze as much water out the I shake up the foam and apply about a golf ball size over my hair, leave for about 10mins and it is always perfect, I have even left it on for the full 20mins before and it hasn’t grabbed and gone too grey like most toners do.
It leaves my hair, soft shiny and the perfect ash blonde colour

Which one would I need to use to get silver hair?

Also, I think lighter platinum (I’m dark blonde) blondes need to be careful with this, since it has a blue-violet rather than a simple violet base. If you don’t have orange/gold tones in your hair, don’t use this. Otherwise, you may have a blue cast on your hair. I’m not sure if Igora Color Gloss has a light blonde with a violet-base.
The actually have. You are totally right that is blue-violet since it has an ash tone to it.
Igora Color Glosse has a light blonde with a violet-base only.
Its this one: Schwarzkopf Igora Expert Mousse 9-9 Extra Light Blonde Violet and you also have the Igora Color Gloss 9-9 Extra Light Blonde Violet which is described as a refresher which last up to 15 washings.

Possibly HG status!
I received this in the mail today, I ordered it after reading all these raving reviews. And of course, I had to try it.
I’ve been trying to recover my previous haircolor (lightblond on my natural ashy blonde) after an awful dye job (done by a hairdresser). I wanted to go a bit more natural, instead I ended up with a really ugly dark blonde/medium brown with bronze on top and green sheen on the bottom.
After numerous sessions of blondspray, highlights, and blonde dye twice, it was almost acceptable, but still too golden for my taste (clashes with my complexion).
Now the actual REVIEW
I used this product 9,5-1 (Platin blond cendre it’s called here) mixed with 9,5-4 (Platin blond beige) as suggested by other reviewers. The former contains purplish pigments, the latter dark beige ones. I mixed them together on the palm of my gloved hand (the instructions tell you to wear gloves although I think it’s not really necessary) and put it in my hair. I didn’t use up the tubs, instead I used maybe a 5th or even less from the 100 ml (I was cautious because first time using it). I was also slightly nervous about how light it would get because it is platin after all. Anyways, I left it on for a bit more than 10 minutes and had my towel wrapped over my hair as the instruction advises that heat will help the process.
The paste smells quite chemical to me. Washing out was quick and easy, hair felt quite soft (but more like chemically processed soft). And shine, well my hair is usually quite shiny so I don’t think it added any but the main thing: the COLOR! perfection. it is really beautiful, got rid of the last reddish/golden streaks and is now beautiful. a pale (but not platin or anything like that) beigy/ashy blond. the roots just blend in, they are slightly darker still but it looks super natural. so the 5 lippies are for the perfect color result, which seems to be happening quite consistently for all the reviewers here.
One more price remark: one tub cost me 13 euros which is kinda pricey although if used sparingly can probably last you about 3-4 times (depending on hair length and thickness, mine is between shoulder and breast) and it is supposed to last up to 15 hair washes. But still, in comparison to hair salon treatment it is good value.
(Although I am wondering whether a semi-permanente dye couldnt do the same, maybe i can find one that also doesnt contain ammonia and oxidants)

My HG! I have the mousse in ‘IceFlower’ and it is AMAZING!
I have also used Goldwells 10p and Igora makes my hair a nicer colour, shinier, softer, and smells better. AND I can buy it at wholesale price.
If you have a dodgy DIY dye job, or your hair is just looking a bit brassy you can count on iceflower to give you an even and gorgeous colour.
I only wish it was more permanent!

Thank you to all of you who have reviewed this product. I have not been this happy with the color of my hair in 6 months. This deposit only color mousse was even better than the Goldwell color mousse. It was waaaay more conditioning, smelled better and gave a more even tone. The Goldwell seemed to deposit some darker “spots” that I felt I needed to wash right away so that they could lighten up. The Schwarzkopf did not do that at all. I left in in about 20 mins. with a plastic cap on. I mixed the iceflower with the champagne color on my brassy medium to light blonde hair (just like another reviewer suggested). It really evened everything out and gave it great tone (beige) and so much shine. I am ordering more right now (I mean, do my kids REALLY need school clothes)?!

My HG. I have really light blonde hair and this keeps it looking like a pearl- literally. I feel like I should buy 50 bottles just in case they discontinue!

I bought this (in Iceflower) because my beloved Goldwell 10P was sold out. The SA told me that it does the same thing as Goldwell, but is stronger. I have to disagree, it is NOT stronger (ie it does not cancel orange as well as the 10P), but it is more conditioning and still does a pretty good job. I like the creamy texture too (the Goldwell one is a bit lighter and has more air in the mousse which is not a good thing). I think I will stick with this one actually as I can make it more intense by leaving it on for longer and using a heating cap.

I’m reviewing Color Gloss Conditioning Mousse in Shade Iceflower 9.5-1 and Champagne 9.5-4. These are the two best blonde toners I’ve ever used. I mix the two together and my hair comes out an awesome pearl blonde not too ash and not golden just perfect. I use them just after my hair has been lightened and then every couple of weeks to condition and brighten the blonde again. HG for me!!

this product was extremely difficult to come by in the UK, but i am so glad i made the effort! it really tones down the brassiness of my highlighted hair, and i find it is a very reasonable conditioning treatment as well. i will keep buying it as long as they keep making it.
P.S. mine is 9.5-1 in “ice flower”
