I hate this wax! It is very messy and difficult to get off. I have soaked in a hot tub, used the entire bottle of wax removal oil and used alcohol and I still have remnants of this wax in my skin and on top of all that it didnt remove the hair.

I hate this wax so much. It’s so sticky and stringy that it’s impossible to work with. The wax won’t even come off with soap/water/oil when you’re trying to wash off the excess. This formula also makes me bleed more in comparison to when I use sugar waxes.
Don’t waste your money on this, it will be so hard and sticky to work with to even use, even if the wax is extremely hot. I couldn’t even finish my waxing session when I used this. Twice.

i loveee this wax …yes i also agree that they should provide more oil coz it is made out of chemicals and gets messy and its not as easier to remove as other natural waxes but the way it removes hair from roots is fantastic also it peels off all the dead skin layer ..so its a deep exfoliation along with hair removal.. its awesome!

I can’t say it didn’t remove hair…it did so quite well.
However,
You have to be very careful, this wax tends to leave threads of wax. I did my legs, brows, upper lip, and bikini area.
I do actually love the oil that came in the kit. I didn’t find I had to scrub anything too hard to remove stray wax. I do wish tho, that for the amount of wax you do get, that they would provide more oil.
I did wax as instructed. Used rubbing alcohol, baby powder, then the wax.
I find the thinner you apply this wax the better, however; it is NOT the most spreadable wax out there.
I would only repurchase in case of necessity. My next waxing haul will be from sally’s.
This wax cools very fast, so if you don’t have a warmer, you WILL be reheating very often.

Ugh, I can’t believe anyone else had success with this wax product?! I just used it and it’s like….plastic putty. Not even wax. I’ve used salon quality gigi honee wax, and pre made wax strips from Sally’s and Avon. They were not sticky, messy….extremely effective, remove every hair and did not cause any pain or redness, etc. also easy to clean up.
I used this, and words can’t describe how painful it was? Besides I tried spreading it as thinly as possible, but it’s so goopy and sticky so I can’t rip the strips off quick, and it didn’t pull off any hair (but it took off skin and now parts of my crotch area is raw…maybe a tmi). Yes, I know what I’m doing since I have waxed myself brazillian style on many occasions- I think this kit is overrated, and the wax is really just a plastic putty. I’m sure it seems like a great investment for people who like cheap walmart products. You get what you pay for, imho.

This wax is fantastic! Yes, it is super goopy and sticky, and it does make quite a mess, but honestly, I find that a small price to pay for how effectively it removes hair. Pubic hair, to be exact. Yep, I used it there, and this wax removed the hair with ease and minimal pain. It actually hurt less than when I had it. Professionally done. I am beyond happy to have successfully waxed myself; I was going to have to spend over $70 dollars every month to maintain it! Not anymore!
Some tips: As others have mentioned, spread this stuff THINLY. Even if it goes on a bit thick, just keep spreading it to thin it out. This will help prevent globs of wax from sticking to your skin; if there is wax left on your skin, just dab the cloth strip on it and it should take most of it off. I found that baby oil works just as well, if not better, at removing the leftover wax. I also sprinkled my skin with baby powder prior to waxing; I believe that’s supposed to help the hair stick better(something like that).
Seriously, this stuff is good! I can’t wait to use it on my legs! If you’re willing to put up with a little mess so you can be hair free and save money, then definitely give this wax a try!

In the box, you get a 6 oz tub of wax, a stack of muslin strips, about 10 wood applicator sticks that are all the size of a tongue depressor, and a small bottle of azulene oil. To use it, you take the top of the tub and microwave the wax for 30 seconds, give or take. It smells yummy, but watch out, this stuff is S-T-I-C-K-Y. I bought this for my legs, knee down. I leave my bikini to my favorite professional. If you spread the wax THIN, it does a great job of removing the hair. (It does not get ALL the hair off, but it did get the majority off. ) If you apply this wax too thick, the strip doesn’t pick up much wax, let alone hair. I have been waxing my legs for 20 years so the hair grows in sporadically and it’s very fine. Seems as though from the reviews that it works well on thick coarse hair as well. My only warning to you is – again – it is verrrrry STICKY. Just go slow, and remember that less is more. With this mantra, I have been able to get away with maybe some extra wax on my hands, which I was able to get off with the azulene oil and I was able to avoid getting it all over the place. With all of that said, I would not repurchase again as it’s too much work. I prefer the Poetic Cosmetic Waxing Kit by Bliss.

Oh my god. This product left my bikini line with hundreds of SCARY looking popped blood vessels around my bikini line. They were discolored and gray. I guess my skin down there is just way to sensitive for this stuff. But the woman i spoke to at the Sally Hansen hotline was soooooo nice. She sent me a a package to send the wax back in for testing, she refunded my purchase, and even offered to pay for the dermatologist bill if it turns out to be a serious burn. So IMO, harsh product, awesome customer service. I’m glad it works for you ladies though!

This stuff actually removes coarse bikini-line hair extremely well. To me that is an amazing feat all by itself, the fact that this stuff actually makes good on the promise that this wax sticks to hairs and not to skin (or at least it sticks less to my skin than other waxes) makes it HG for me. I also tried this on my eye brows and upper lip. Definitely works, but don’t use it if you have delicate skin from exfoliation or other treatments that can make skin fragile as this stuff isn’t playing around when the box claims that the wax is “extra strength”. The main drawback to this product is that is very messy (make sure to have some kind of oil close at hand while using) and while you’re applying it and when trying to get it out of the jar the wax will create long threads (think the way it looks to remove a slice of cheese pizza from the rest of the pie. Those are the kinds of threads I’m talking about.) which can get all over things. Annoying, yes, but worth it for this very effective wax.

I used this wax on my legs, and it worked really well. While it did not get ALL the hair off, it did get about 90% off. I shaved the rest off, and even they have not grown back yet (a week later). So, all in all, it is effective.
However, my only complaint is that it is soooooo STICKY. It gets all over everything (counter, hands, anything you then touch). And it is hard to remove, especially from my hands. If it weren’t for that, I would give it 5.
