I’m on my second tube of this, and it’s my favorite blow dry cream!!! My hair stylist recommended it, and I’m hooked. It’s expensive, but worth it- the smell is nice and fresh, it makes my hair so smooth and silky, and I love the added heat protection. I’ve gotten a few of my friends to use it, too, all with positive feedback. I apply it to my mid-lengths and ends when my hair’s towel-dried before I blow dry it. It’s made a huge difference in the texture of my hair overall, and I would definitely rank it higher than the other heat protectors I’ve used (Wella INVIGO, Joico Brightening Veil, Oribe Royal Blowout, B&B Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil).

This is an updated version of the original Ciment Thermique whish is still a bestseller after 13 years after its launch.
Extentioniste Thermique can be considered a more “up-to-date” formula considering the use of less ingredients, less silicone and all-in-all a seemingly more environmental friendly formula (which is considered to be important today).
The product has a shorter ingredients list too, and also less impressive technically.
However, this product surprisingly does deliver and contrary to my belief, it actually conditions the hair more compared to the Ciment Thermique while leaving it just as light and weightless.
I find the Extentioniste Thermique a superior product since it also leaves the hair smoother and seemingly in a better condition than its predecessor.
I also find that the shampoo, conditioner/fondant works better when they are used together with the Extentioniste Thermique. Actually, they work so well together that I will even repurchase the whole serie despite indicating on the separate reviews last May that I will not.
