My hair is long blond and has medium thickness, it’s pretty healthy but my ends can be a little bit dry. This hair mask smells like sweet coconuts and the scent will linger in your hair for awhile. It makes my hair soft and it does not weigh down my hair. If I like a product but don’t love it, I give it 3 lippies, I think this is a good product but it does not do more for my hair then what every other conditioner or hair mask would do. I would grab this again if I saw this on sale, but I would not run to the store to pick this out specifically!

This mask smells AMAZING!! After using this my hair was so smooth and soft. It smelt incredible and felt really good as well. Whenever I use this my hair feels so beautiful and soft. The mask does its job wonderfully and I would reccommend it to anyone wanting soft, silky hair.

I hadn’t heard anyone talk about this (only their hair growth mask), but I was intrigued since anything containing coconut oil usually does good things to my dry hair. This is a really affordable (£6.99 at boots UK and only marginally more ‘expensive’ in Sweden) hair mask that performs as well as many more expensive masks that I’ve tried. It makes my hair super smooth and manageable, and it feels very moisturising, too.
Silicone discussion ahead: when I bought this I was using silicone without any reservations, but lately I’ve been trying to stay away from any silicones that aren’t water soluble, since I mainly use sulfate free shampoos. This contains Amodimethicone, which according to most sources is not water soluble. But it supposedly also doesn’t build up like many silicones (dimethicone, for example) do. For the time being I’ve limited my use of this mask to when I make a henna gloss (after which I wash it out with a shampoo containing SLS) and the combination of the nourishing henna, this mask, and the coconut oil that is in both Lush’s henna blocks and this mask is pretty heavenly. My hair feels silky smooth in a way that it very rarely does. And best of all – it doesn’t just feel like the slip comes from a bunch of silicone, like with some masks. Amodimethicone is actually the 16th(!) ingredient, so it’s likely a very low amount anyway.
+ Cruelty free
+ Affordable
+ My dry, curly hair feels really nourished and smooth after use
+ Though it does contain one silicone, it’s very low on the ingredient list
+ Nice (but pretty strong) coconut scent that I personally really enjoy
– Honestly, none that I’ve found so far, unless you count it containing any silicone at all as a con
