I got this in the hot pink color and it looks great. What I love about this flat iron is that it makes my naturally wavy hair become as straight as I want and my hair stays straight until the next time I wash it (unless my hair gets wet or it’s extremely humid outside). It heats up really quickly and I use it on a high setting, but not the highest setting because that might fry your hair. You can straighten wet hair with this iron as well, but I don’t recommend it because it will look frizzy. Use this on dry hair for the best and shiniest results.

Fantastic. Cuts down on styling time. Great deal price-wise. I have had this for over a year and it’s still going strong.

I purchased this flat iron from Folica to replace my 5 year old CHI. My hair is moderately thick and coarse with curls/waves. I thought it would be nice to adjust the temperature setting, but in reality, I still need the highest heat setting to get the job done. The iron heats up nice and quick. I find that I need to pass over each section of hair at least 2-3 times to get the job done. It also leaves my hair very flat. I went back to a CHI recently, and love how I need only one pass through my hair for it to be smooth, straight, and frizz free, and with out losing any of the body like I do with the Solia iron. I’m back to a CHI, I would spend the few extra dollars over the Solia.
