   My old steed Wigo died right before Christmas, after around 12 years of good service. I paid around $150 for it back then so was preparing myself mentally to shell out about the same for a new one. I spent quite a bit of time perusing the hair tools section at Ulta, and was very close to giving up when the rose gold dryer caught my six year old daughter’s eye, then mine. It was pretty looking, light weight, came with two attachments and a travel bag, claimed ceramic plates and ionic technology, along with a very short drying time. I took it all with a grain of salt, but it had most of the qualities I was looking for, and in adorable packaging and a price point I could easily handle. It was on sale and in addition I still had my 20% coupon, so very good deal indeed, but knowing what I know now, I would pay full price without blinking. Not only is the dryer straightforward and easy to use, so lightweight to handle (no tired arms, hallelujah!), and dries incredibly quickly (seriously, it feels like I just started and I’m done). But after all that, my hair is so smooth, healthy, frizz free and shiny!! I don’t get huge amounts of volume from it so far, I’ll have to play around with brushes and mousses, but otherwise I’m imsuoer impressed with this dryer, I only regret not getting it sooner!
